I used Trigedit to edit location names, and after I saved and I forgot to do save a backup, some of my strings seemed to be interlinked with each other. How can I fix this? -.-

I believe SCMD2 automatically checks for repeated strings and "interlinks" them as a way to save on the number of used strings. It's not exactly a problem, especially because as soon as you edit the strings again, they become separate (at least I think SCMD2 automatically separates them).
You mean creating or deleting strings, right? You can't edit them with trigedit.
Are locations and switchs strings? All I did was replace one location with another location in a bunch of triggers, and I saved it. Then for some reason, most of my switches were-renamed and interlinked, and some of my comments.
What version of SCMDraft 2?

Oh... well then, nevermind. It's certainly a bug then.
If you can recreate it tell me and DW how and we will fix it, I have seen random reports of switches getting messed up but noone has followed up with more info
I think I was using a earlier version, public prerelease 9 since I forgot to update it, so I think I'll be fine now. I haven't been able to re-create it, but I still do have the map. If I edit one of the display text message triggers in x-tra, then one of my comments will change to it.
Trigedit recycles the strings so if you use identical strings in several triggers editing any one of them in SCXE or SF will change them all. If you edit the name of one in trigedit to something unique and then change it in SCXE it wont happen.
The names are mixed up though. And I only altered location in the triggers, yet my switch names get renamed to comment names?
That should not happen, like I said if you can send us a map where it messes it up just by opening it and pressing compile we can fix it alot easier than if we have to search for the bug ourselves.
