Not really. The average tank can move through far harsher terrain then any civilian car, and are able to strike a target from hundreds of meters, meaning mine > yours, even if you get a head start. Besides, the car is many times more expensive then an average car because of... doors that open upwards? I've heard those doors break easy as well.
