I picked up Resident Evil 4 about a week ago, and there isnt much to say about this game except... Damn, what a really good game.

When i first started playing this game, i got a little mad because using the knife didnt exactly come easy too me, but after a while i got the hang of it. Then there was the problem with ammo: I never really understood why the merchent doesnt sell ammo, but it will always remain a really freaking annoying mystery to me, because I am always out of ammo it would seem like.

But, when i started playing the game deeply, the game RoXors. The gameplay is... incredible, the gun upgrades just make things better, and with the super-scary storyline, your always on your toes. And like I said, the storyline is amazing, especially how they pull things back from the old resident evil games, Freaking sweet. Plus the boss fights never fail to "Woo" me, especially the right hand boss fight. Hes like a spawn.../Really freaking fast guy mix, fun to fight him.

All in all, i think Resident evil 4 is the #2 greatist game cube game (i will never Dis-obey super smash bros...) of all time. If it were to be rated, 9/10. What do you think about Resident Evil 4?

I beat it a in the week it came out. I was pro-RE and that's why I spent $70 for the collector's edition which came with a red tin case (there's a Gamestop logo on it, bleh), a laser made picture of Leon (1 of 50,000), and a storybook that describes all the games in the series.

Storywise, I thought it was lame, but the graphics still had me interested.

Gameplay changed from a survival sort of game into a Rambo sort, but I'd say it's still fun. The scary effect has been lost somewhat however.

Music is chilling and keeps you tense. Sound effects sound great, and don't disappoint.

It took me 20 hours on the first go to beat the game, and I'm half way to beating my second trip. There's many weapons to upgrade and lots of secrets to uncover. There are some nice bonuses like bottecaps, and a couple more after you beat the game. The problem is that all the minigames use the same gameplay, so it does get repetitive, but it's still fun, given the amount of work put into it.

My Rating:
Singleplayer - 3/3
Multiplayer - N/A
Lifespan - 2/3

This is a great game. This has great graphics, some sort of challenging gameplay, since there's one hit kill enemies, and replay value. Mercenaries and Assignment Ada will keep you with RE 4 for a pretty long time. And the extras that you get from those 2 mini-games makes you want to beat them both. And for the people who hate escort missions...I dunno if you'll like this game, since part of the gameplay is escorting the president's daughter around. So I'm gonna give this 8.5/10

This is the only console game I play on a regular basis. In fact, I rehooked up my GameCube just to play this. It really is that good a game. First off, its way different from the other Resident Evils. I didn't really find it that scary at all. RE went from survival horror to shooter horror... with sexy results. I never ran out of ammo... except in the beginning. The cutscene dodge moves and such could be incorporated into maps very easily... a brilliant idea on Capcom's part, actually. This is definitely my favorite Resident Evil... well, maybe RE 2... very tough choice. RE4 is THE best GameCube game that I have played to date. ¡Tú tienes que comprar este partida! thumbup.gif

I hated the cutscene dodging. I was playing and I was like, "Yes! Finally a break!" Then all of a sudden I get smashed into little tiny bite sized pieces... That freaking sucked...

Great game though smile.gif 9/10

Theres only one problem about this game, NO ZOMBIES. They're all village people, but I don't know if their infected because they always grab you.

Well supposedly in RE 5, they're bringing back the zombies, let alone they even make the 5th one. And this game's camera angles pretty much seperate this from the other games.
