Bugs removed, bugs added.
I've notice two things so far mining and loading airship.
Setting to mine minerals and every once in a while the working will goto it, but not mine. The other thing is, this one happens a bit more often is when you set to load by using the units you want to load and right clicking on the airship, and then you tell those units to stop, and the loading unit will stop too. I've never had this problem in previous versions.

I would say it's a new intended feature in the patch, but it doesn't always, it's rather inconsistant/random.

Anyone else experience other things, or this?

I can't even play SC at the moment, but those sound like they suck.

I havnt noticed a diference.

The only bug introduced was the green player in replays.

No other bugs were introduced. Your so-called "new bugs" were not introduced by this patch.

You probably hit stop on the mining, or stop on the transport. As far as I know, doing what you said does not reproduce the given effects.

I also noticed the bug that sometimes when you click for your worker to mine, it just goes to the mineral patch and stops and doesn't mine, happened to me quiet a few times.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Deathknight on 2005-07-08 at 17:33:08
There's no way that's possible. You must have given the workers another action.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Trigonometry on 2005-07-08 at 17:34:31
Oh yeah, like it's not possible to make a probe into a mutalisk?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Ultimo on 2005-07-08 at 17:35:37
Yeah, that's not possible.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Trigonometry on 2005-07-08 at 17:37:30
Well too bad you haven't noticed. That's resources you're missing out on.

Save a replay next time you see it happen, then we can analyze it and tell you you are wrong.

Why hasn't he been banned?

Talking about Trigonometry
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2005-07-08 at 18:42:12
I don't remember any admins or mods giving a warning of imminent banning, and as far as I know, they always do that directly before ban.
Then again I missed a total of a couple pages of the flame-attack threads.
Personally, I'm glad he wasn't.

I think Trig is just confused. He probably DID order the scvs to stop or something. That happens sometimes when you are playing, or accidently changing the CC rally point to somewhere on your mineral line, that has happened to me too.

BTW: Unless you can provide some evidence no one will believe you closedeyes.gif

It's like saying OMG I BURROWED A SIEGE TANK!

Wish I could play SC... then I'd be able to find out if these were true for myself.
Generally, I don't trust word from others, though if I hear of something that doesn't sound too completely idiotic and unrealistic, I'll test it out to be sure.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by wesmic da pimp on 2005-07-08 at 18:51:12
he's lying, he probably expects the scvs to go to the minerals by themselves
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2005-07-08 at 19:29:54
He's lying, and he probably expects something that's incorrect? Explain how that works.
Also, explain why you think he's lying and not just dilusional or something.

Judging by what he said, he knows what he's doing, but he's lying, dillusional, or has bad luck.

it's rather inconsistant/random.

That's also an important part.

Well I'm not the only one.

ezday, he's just an ICL'er that's getting his sick little pleasure everytime people like you believe his bullshit, I've played a lot of games since this new patch, and I haven't had this happen to me, neither has anyone else that I've ever played with.

"Believe"? I'm neutral on the matter, since I'm unable to verify it for myself right now.
However, as I said before, I do like to test such things, regardless of what others say, except when they sound like complete and utter bullshit.

Apparently Trig isn't the only one.
There are plenty of reasons that Trig could be doing this other than "he's lying for no reason", enough so that I'm inclined to not instantly assume that that's the correct one, and the fact that Vampire has agreed is enough evidence for me to not only not just assume he's lying, but to trust that it's some other reason.
Vampire may not hold a great deal of my respect, but that's for things that don't relate to this.

I've notice it once while playing melee 2v1 against comps (2 = Me and Tokamak@useast). The scv stop thing.

For the dropship 'glitch' just tell it to move right next to the place it is at the moment... rather than stop.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2005-07-08 at 20:45:21
Oh, and Kow and Vampire are liars too, right?
EDIT: Deleted an excessively sarcastic and pointless rant which was, I admit, a bit immature, though not so much as to deserve a description as anymore than a "bit".

He's definitely not ICL, I've seen him in some mapmaking channel I believe, like SEN or UUU, but I have never seen him in the ICL channel. Plus no ICLer wastes their time like he does.

Goddamn, you don't see me anywhere. I stay in a private channel that is exclussive amognst all people I now in person. Well with the exception of some people found their way there.
