Stand-Bying is as old as X-Box live. People did it in Mech Warrior for X-Box live. Though it's not as bad used in that sequence as on live. Like in Halo 2 where it was at it's worst. Host would hit the button. Everyone else get's the blue screen "reestablishing connection." Then blue screen is over. "Flag captured, round over." And Bungie dropped the hammer on that. And so would Battle.net if it becomes and issue.
So I'm assuming you stole the idea from X-Box live.

Yea, that tactic was used for Xbox Live. I read it. I think it actually did some trick that made everyone else freeze except the person with the modem using standby, in Halo.

I was stating two things... If it isn't against Battle.net's policy, which it is because it alters the game to favor. But even on that, they would make it against policy.

Thats not allowed. Thats as bad as re-opening a closed topic., which gets you suspended.
