Does anyone know where I can find a site that tells the scales of the units are suppose to be in the real world?

you've been here for 10 days, three of which you were banned on, and you've created 26 topics.

And that had what to do with the topic?
As far as I could tell, that was just as much "spam" as anything Trig has done so far, if not more.
Note that I am not talking about amount when I say "much", but I am referring to how "spammy" it is, so don't give me any "he's done way more" crap either.

As far as I know, such a thing doesn't exist, and if it did it would be at the Blizzard website.
If someone other than Blizzard made it, it would probably be way off on some aspects anyway, since all we have to go by are some screenshots from Ghost, a few cinematics, and the far off-scale game itself(I doubt a Marine is really anymore than 10% the size of a BC... >_>).

Bah, then I'll have to make up scales... Well then, I'll be the founder of SC scales. happy.gif

Dark swarm, plague, hydras, and 9 devours...
Pop goes the battlecruisers.

ADDITION:
Oh, and ensnare if you got it.

That was irrelivant...

LoL...
Misread, I thought you're saying people are Battlecruiser w****s.

Ya, BCs would be like as long as 500 marines stacked end to end...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Trigonometry on 2005-07-08 at 21:46:11
Or if anything, dropships that come out from the BC. SST STYLE!

Some starcraft units/races are based on movies (Aliens and Predator come to mind) and you could probably turn to those for more information.

Science Vessels are much bigger then dropships, I think they're bigger then battlecruisers?(maybe?)

Science vessals don't look much like they'll be any bigger than half a BC in real life. Battlecruisers are like 1 or 2 times the size of the Colossus or Sathanas in Freespace 2, which is very, very, VERY big.

Luckily, they aren't that big in SC or we'd have to select them one at a time as enemies attack them in futile attempts to purge it's gargantuan hull.

I only remember marine: 5 feet tall.
And I think Zealots are like 7 or 9 feet (can't remember)

It says somewhere... Just can't remember where. (When I got SC I read everything...)

Lings are about 2'6" square --- watch the cenimatic.

They're about the size of a medium dog, if you were to create a box that touches the ends. They're much skinnier though. Which means that they have a higher surface area for their mass, which means more armor.

No. A science vessel is probably about the same size. Watch the cinematic, they're huge.

5 feet?! I'm sure you have that wrong... 5 feet is shorter than a 13 year old... I'm 5"3...
It's probably slighter taller than the Master Chief would be, because their armor is way more massive- more like a Clan Elemental or a Heavy Gear than a combat armor...

Nope. According to everything I read that came with Starcraft they are 5'.

EDIT: I know people who are 14 and are about 4 feet.

Huh. I'll have to look for myself.
I went to Blizzcom and under the Terran counters to Marines...

A group (6+ or more) of Battlecruisers can kill Marines very easily.

I don't know why, but this seems... lmao worthy.

Then theres the retardedness that a flamethrower does any damage at all to an all-metal building with armor.

Superheated, burning gas would melt the armor. It's in the future. Dur.
