I just thought it might be interesting to know what is everyone's favorite english word. For one, it can tell a lot about the person himself, and it's just cool to know if there're any popular words 
. Of course you'll have to explain why.
Of course, mine's Shadow! It just... sounds cool I guess. Since I was young, I always named my RPG characters Shadow anyway; don't ask why (adding to the fact that I talk french; and use english words to play my games). FFIII took a good part of why I like the word too
.
Plus, the word alone is telling so much things about me; the shyness (darkness?), how I always stay behind everyone; I stay silent, I don't talk much (shadow??), etc... That basicly is about why.

I'd have to say "subterfuge." Although it sounds German if you say it right... Its just a cool sounding word, with a pretty cool meaning too...

I was scared for a few minutes there, yoshi. Can I call you Yosh? good. So, I have to say this about the english language:
ITS OVER RATED
for exapmle, in greek, there are three levels of the word love. friendship, marriage-type, and lust. But in the english language, there is one. So you could say, "I love pizza." and than turn to your girlfriend/ boyfriend and say "I love you."

I mean really. The english language isn't eloquent at all, except for those who are witty enough to put implied meaning within it.
Well, I guess english is good in that it is one of the languages where rhyming can be used. Some can't you know.
If I had to choose a word that was english that I liked, it would probably be

I have several.

I find that my peers and fellow school mates are having problems with this relatively simple language.

My favorite word is probably "Word" or the slang of it "Werd" or my own little twisted thing... "Rayne" for the obvious reason... it may not be a Real english word... but it hails from one.

I'd have to say my favorite word in the english language , is either Inferno or incandescence which means the same thing
but this is only english, fire sounds a lot "cooler" lol in other languages, but then again so do a lot of other words...like oblivion in german is Vergessenheit

I enjoy those words but they aren't my favorite words. They just kind of amuse me.
