Wow thanks again for putting this on Psycho, I'm very new to SEN, and this seems like a great welcoming present 
. I can play any time after 10 in the morning (Pacific time) except Tuesday's which I can't play at all. Games running too late really isn't a problem for me, unless we're talking about well after midnight (again Pacific).

i can play friday(not at midnight), saturday(i can at midnight), and sunday(same as saturday). pacific time.

Psycho you can participate too. Otherwise theres not too much competition. (I know its for the maps but still) I want to beat you on my map. with terran. and i take away 2 scvs from the start. Like yellow did to me when i played him...

Ok so let me clear things up for my own understanding. You are stopping sign-ups at July 18th, and starting tournament when the contestants play each other which is whenever?
ADDITION: For the final round when its 1v1 you should pick a perfectly balanced, well made map...obviously yes, but i've seen many tourneys go all to hell because of them not following that one basic procedure

Oh i see,but still. Technically every match is a round, and if the players get to choose which map then I guess it allows then tog et used to that map before actually competing. Nice touch

I'm assuming maps with lots of cliffs benefit Terran because of tanks, but that's about all I know. I always feel out of the loop when I hear people discussing maps being balanced. Is there a thread or resource that explains what criteria help Protoss and Zerg, and the reasons behind it. As a Toss player I'd like to know which maps help me and why.

I guess I'll say some hearsay.. I usually play Zerg so I'll go over that.
Lots of open space: Rigged for Zerg since it's easier to flank.
Lots of choke points: Rigged against Zerg in Zerg vs Terran.
Islands: Rigged against Zerg in Zerg vs Protoss since Zerg can't expand easily.
Crystallis-style: Rigged against Zerg(?)

First of all, there are many more imbalances than that.
Second, we dont need to hear them.
I need to play someone, im leaving Wednesday for vaction for 7 days.
