now this is for a friend, so dont instantly turn away because its me.

He has a problem when he connects to battle.net (us West) it says something along the lines of "your connection is either very poor or it cannot read udp packets through port 6112. "

so he cant play games when he logs on, and when he comes on, he has the chat bot logo.

its not his connection, because last time he logged on he had a ping of 62.



any ideas of whats wrong, or what could be causing the problems?

He needs to open port 6112 on his firewall/router/whatever. Ports generally can be managed under "settings"
