This topic is mainly directed at Yoshi, but I created it public because I value everyone's opinions and input smile.gif.

Where did you get the script that you use for the news feature on your main 'portal' page? I've seen similar scripts on other pages like icy-hell.com.

Now that I look at it closer, it appears to be part of InvisionBoard.

How can I get a news system like that on my site, without everything else included in InvisionBoard?

Plus, I don't want to buy InvisionBoard.

Okay, so where can I get a news script for my website, so I don't have to manually do every piece of news.

It IS a part of invision board. And invision is free.

However, you may do better with this news script:

or, search for one here:

That wasn't quite fast enough wink.gif.

You might want to be a couple seconds faster next time.

Okay, thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out. smile.gif

Yoshi, perhaps blackdeath is talking about how you incoperate (sp?) your news into your forum posts. I find this extremely cool and am trying to do this myself, but I don't like invision board.

Try fusion news (i like it). It can be downloaded at http://www.fusionphp.net/

Whats there not to like about invision? Its awsome.

The news on the front page is accually a portal. I can have it contain many things and boxes however I want. Its integrated with my boards as well.
