I've had multiple reports of üBeR@TiOn scrambling the strings. Many times I have asked those people who had encountered this to send me a version of their map. Finally after many weeks of begging people for maps, my good friend
Screwed from SEN experiences this bug too, this time in his unit names. He said they were blank. Then it hit me, I hadn't prepared for Null Strings. They weren't supposed to even be possible for some aspects of the map such as Forces or Unit names, yet some editors allow it (such as StarForge). So now it should be fixed and strings should no longer be scrambled. Also, I updated the way I rewrite the strings section and added a bit more protection to throw some people off. Thank you all for supporting this production and being patient with all the bugs you encounter.
There is, however, a new bug. When finding a null string, it will refer it to the proper spot (string 0) which also turns unit names back to default (what SF should be doing). If you want a unit to have a blank name, please change it to a space (" ").
Download! There was a recently discovered bug. I just fixed it and I am currently testing every map I have to make sure that it doesn't ever happen again. Hopefully v2.0.0.5 will be released tomorrow.
