Try deleteing a lot of unused things.

I advise you to get a new computer.. how much total space is there in your Hard drive? Have you deleted your temporary internet cache/files lately? That can sometimes build up, depending on how much you surf. Run some virus scans and spyware scans, this one is a really good one:Trend Micro Virus Scan [Highly Recommended]
Try to run that HiJackThis program and post your log here. (Google search it)

New computers these days have 150 Gigs of hard drive space. I really recommend to go computer shopping tongue.gif.

FartyBillion, he did, (But maybe not enough)

Also try clearing your recycle been. Are you using Windows XP and System Restore?

The only time I had space problems was when I had 500 megabytes to work with, and 200 of those were reserved for my version of windows.

Back in the day...

Anyway, if you dont - then get a cd burner and move some of that censored.gif onto a CD. Strange, I can't talk normally now because it gets censored out. This is just depressing.

Follow these steps to determine how much hard disk space is available on your computer.

1. Double-click My Computer.
2. Click the drive to which you are installing the software.
3. Right-click the drive to which you are installing the software (usually, this is C: drive) and select Properties.
user posted image
4. On the General tab, note the amount of free space.
user posted image
5. Keep the Properties dialog open as you read the following information.

It is possible that you need more space to install your software than the minimum system requirements in the product documentation state. A general rule of thumb is you need twice as much space as stated. If you need to increase hard disk space follow the instructions in the Increase your hard disk space section below.

If you are certain you have enough space to install the software on your computer, something else is causing the error. You can click OK to close the Properties dialog, and visit the Who to Contact page for instructions on how to contact your vendor for immediate assistance.

Increase your hard disk space

There are several ways you can increase your hard disk space. The most thorough way is to use the Windows utility Disk Cleanup. Disk Cleanup searches your drive and then walks you through the process of deleting:

* Temporary Internet files
* Downloaded program files (ActiveX controls and Java applets downloaded from the Internet)
* Files in the Recycle Bin
* Files in your Temp folder
* Optional Windows components that you do not use
* Installed programs that you do not use

You can direct Disk Cleanup to delete some or all of the files it identifies.
To use Disk Cleanup:

1. Click Disk Cleanup in the Properties dialog. The Disk Cleanup dialog opens and your drive is scanned.
user posted image
2. After you drive has been scanned, a dialog for the drive you are scanning opens.
user posted image
3. On the Disk Cleanup tab, select the items you want to remove from your hard drive. Usually, Downloaded Program Files, Temporary Internet Files, Recycle Bin, and Temporary Files. To view the files that will be deleted, click View Files. If you want to keep a file, create a folder and drag and drop the file you want to keep into it.
4. Click OK to start cleanup.

Optionally, you can clean unused Windows components and installed programs using the More Options tab of the Disk Cleanup dialog. For more information, search the Windows Help by selecting Start > Help or double-clicking My Computer and selecting Help > Help Topics. Search for Disk Cleanup, Windows Components, or Add/Remove Programs.

If you do not want to use Disk Cleanup, you can do any or all of the following items to free up space on your hard drive.

* Empty the Recycle Bin: On your Desktop, right-click the Recycle Bin, and then click Empty Recycle Bin. If you are prompted to confirm that you want to delete the files, click Yes.
* Remove Installed Programs: Uninstall programs that you do not use:
1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
2. Select any programs that you do not used and click Change/Remove.

Note: It may be necessary to restart your computer after uninstalling the programs you do not want. If you are uninstalling more than one program, you can choose not to restart until you have uninstalled all programs.
* Delete temporary Internet files:
1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet.
2. On the General tab, click Delete Files.

Note that Disk Cleanup from XP also has the option of compressing old files. Don't do this unless absolute necessary, because unused old files aren't always useless and compression may hinder computer performance greatly. But then again, it can't be worse than having 4MB free.

What about a disk defrag? It doesen't compress anything, it reorganizes the data and makes it more efficient, which might free up space.

Remember this everyone:

And for those who have Windows XP and they have System Restore enabled (Default), it keeps EVERYTHING you delete, including viruses and spyware your antivirus/spyware program delete, and stuff deleted from the recycle bin. They keep it so you can go back in time and restore all deleted files or installed files to that point.

So, next time you run a virus remover or a spyware remover, have system restore off (WARNING: THIS WILL DELETE ALL PREVIOUS "CHECKPOINTS" TO RESTORE BACK TO! Turn off with your own choice!) and run the programs to fully clean the system. (Note, not all antiviruses work to the full advantage, like eTrust Antivirus, Nortan, and McCafe with fully updated virus lists sometimes will get them all.. I scan with Trend micro, which gets to my opinion 100% of them, once a week, link above in my previous post.)

Well, that's the sad part.

I used the defragmentor, but, it says I need at the very LEAST 15% of space left. I have 0%.

The compress old files thing has come up all of the time, it only frees like 50MB's on a good day.

I'll do what you said MrrLL. If that fails, what else can I do besides having too spend money!

@Chu, my CPU doesn't let me save anything to a disc. Unless I am doing something wrong (Chances are that I am).

Whenever deleting a file that you know you will never ever want again, press Shift+Delete. This will make sure it's not cahed and it will actually delete.
Also, check to make sure you don't have any 0KB .D extension files. If you do, PM the name to me. To see if you have any, go to search and type in *.D and run a check on you hardrive. If anything comes up PM the name(s) of the file(s) to me.

System specs, RAM memory, HD total space, Speed (GHZ or MHZ), etc but those are the main parts..

For example..mine are 2.9 GHZ speed 512MB Ram and 160Gigs of free HD Space.

Specs would also include graphics cards and sound cards, but that doesn't matter here.

Alrighty!

My specs are:

4CPU 2.8 GHz

2.79GHz, 512 MB of RAM

I don't know a thing about computers.

The total is 13.5GB's.

I was able to free up to 150-160MB's... Getting there.

So, any other suggestions?

Could there be something wrong? I.E. A virus or something?

13.5GB Total... blah, we're in the 21st century, man.

You can get 200GB for 100 bucks on Newegg.
