Like my previous php thread, this thread is mostly directed at Yoshi, because he has so much experience, but I didn't PM him the question because I want all the input I can get.
What is the best low cost web host. And by low cost I mean sub $10.
It has to support php, ftp, and mySQL. Those are my only requirements I think.
If I had to purchase a Web hosting plan right now I'd go with iPowerWeb.com.
So is there something better than iPowerWeb?

Any hosts like iPowerWeb or Globat, that offer that much storage/transfer usually have strings attatched (and usually overselling). No, definitely not iPower.
Hes right. Low cost hosting almost always has strings attached. Look carefully in their policies and legal documents. Things to look for:
- If it says something about "Excessive resource use for 30 seconds" or something like that, this host may not be for you depending on how big your site will be, and what language to put it in.
- See what languages it supports.
- Make sure there aren't hidden fees
- Make sure there aren't hidden policies
I doubt there are strings attached because I've only heard people say good things about them.
They are getting great reviews everywhere.

Reviews you cant be too dependant on. They could be just getting paid to say good things, the host decided to suck up to them (give em the best quality, when you join you get nothing) or they were running too simple of a website to accually do any testing.
Yeah, I suspected that the reviewers could be getting paid, so I tried to find reviews from smaller sites. A person from a forum that I frequent (MacRumors.com) said that they were good too, and I definitely trust an individuals opinion.

edit - I went with iPowerWeb, and it rocks. No dissapointment at all (so far).
