Here it is, my newest map, completed as of three days ago: Team Micro Arena: Masters. It is, quite simply, an enhanced version of the classic TMA maps I'm sure you have all played, except this one, unbeliably enough, actually REQUIRES MICRO! OMG I KNOW ITS TRUE!! tongue.gif

On a side note, it shares a similar theme with Überena apparently, for I suppose we got the same sort of idea for spawning. Thats about it though O_O

this is very confusing at first, especially with all the texts. I think u should show the overmind's hp so i no when it is too low. I dont like maps where player 1 is require, u should make it so when player 1 isnt there it'll give it to other players to choose game length. Anyways, this is pretty fun biggrin.gif

I think there is too many TMA maps, I have about 10 different versions. I think people should try something new instead of breaking off of old games.

Old games are repeated because they have a tried and true formula.

Its just the same basic theme. Most of the concepts are totally new.

On a side note, few other micros actually require micro. Its just mass unit warfare that requires no skill. This changes that, which differenciates it from the other versions.

As for requiring P1, its only for the beginning of the game. After that, it really doesn't matter. Plus, if P1 is not present, the game will auto-set to 30k hp, so its not that terminal if P1 is not around.

As for the overmind having only 9999 hp, the game is way too short otherwise. I am not making it have a large amount of armor, as that will make only a few units actually be able to harm it (such as reavers, tanks, or mass zerglings). Plus, it adds a sense of uncertainty to the game, as you can only estimate its life. However, by clicking on it, you can tell vaguely by the number of pips below it as well as the actual graphical state.

If you are that confused, reading the briefing may help.

Yeah man, try getting some creativity and make a sweet map, unlike this one. I have more fun playing Uberena.

Überena blows compared to this angry.gif

Besides, it wasn't a large project at all. I just got lazy (working on things like LoK was more worthwhile usually)

This topic is NOT about Überena, so please stay on topic. This map is slightly similar, but its a totally different game (just same concept).

As for this map not being in the database yet, I just didn't do it yet >_>
