I was playing around one day with MemGraft and Arsenal III when I saw there was a Group (Cloaker) button group. This was coded to be used by units with the Cloakable tag in Arse III.

I did alittle research and found out that the Cloakable tag doesn't have to be checked for the unit to cloak. It's just for that button group. (Same for the Group (Peon) and Group (Burrower) command groups).

So I was thinking that this could be used for group-based attacks.

I did an experiment, I was able to make it so that when a Dark Templar and a High Templar are selected, they can cast Yamato Gun. However, since the Dark Templar didn't have a spellcasting animation, the High Templar cast Yamato gun alone.

The button only appeared when the two were selected, not when two DTs were selected or when two HTs were selected.

I think the Group (Cloaker) is the best option for this, because IMO, Cloaking Wraiths and Ghosts at the same time is fairly rare... at least compared two the other ones... (Mining with multiple peons and burrowing multiple Zerg units is more common).

Does everyone know this and I'm alittle slow? Or is this something interesting?

Certainly looks like an interesting concept and its true that Im pretty sure that I dont select ghost and wriaths to cloak even though I might accidentally. This would definatly go somewhere.

This could be used for those combination attacks or whatever that were suggested.

Yea once again *small bump* this is a great concept but me thinks people are now ALOT more interested in the new TRIGGERS OF GOD.
