All SEN members who live in North America, Please TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTERS, YOUR A/C (Air Conditioning), YOUR LIGHTS, ETC. WHEN YOU'RE NOT USING THEM!! If you don't we're going to get another blackout because of insufficient power...and I know you wouldn't want that. No power = No A/C and no computers for all you no-lifers out there.

What's your reasoning? I'm sure Japan uses a lot of energy too.
Wow, why hasn't this gone to the garbage forum? I think this has no seriousness in it whatsoever.
*Turns on every light in house, turns on AC full blast, turns all computers, all TVs on.
Ah, I love electricity.
Was it really worth it? I mean, lets say 500 SEN members read this. Assuming no members go out and delibrately waste electricity *cough* Mrrll *cough*, and 50 members listen, is it really that big of a savings?
Not to mention the electricity used for you to post it and for the 500 SEN members to view the thread/reply.
Oh

! I better turn off evreything that helps me live!
Seriously though, When you post something, Please post a reasoning for your post, Or we will just report.

Yes, my computer has a humidifyer attached to it that helps me to breathe (and live) So if I unplug my computer, or turn it off the humidifyer turns off, and I die

.
I men't like the thing's that help elderly people live. Like the oxygen tank's at the hospital, If we turn off our electricity, Then there screwed. Unless they have some one next to them untill the country turns the electricity on.

Uhhh........ I would just like to welcome myself back before I put this newb in his place....
Seriously, where the hell did you get this from? Like the example that was used before, it won't matter if we do or not! And everyone in North America has different sources of power man! WTF are you thinking?!?!
Where I live, we are supplied by Hydroelectric. Preston (Yes Napoleon Dynamites town) is suplied by various forms of plants.
WTF makes you think SEN members turning off their power, will make a difference????? Not to be rude or anything, but are you on crack?
yes, i would also like to welcom kelly back. and what he says is true. i also think that your on crack. dude, 500 members will not change

. it will get used some where else. we dont have a pile of electrisity sitten out there somewhere that is beign used up...think about it.
Dip****s leaving things on is a waste of electicity. In case you didn't notice, that adds to your electric bill. But I hardly this is going to help. Anyone with a brain knows if they leave everything on it's going to cause problems, and those without brains won't understand your instructions (as they have clearly already misunderstood you). Chances are, we're going to have another blackout this summer because 90% of NA couldn't be troubled to turn off the things they aren't using. And, of course they'll all be

ing how hot they are when they don't have any AC or ice.
EDIT: The excriments smilie is so disgusting.
You'd need to tell a lot more people than just SENers...
Lets just stop using all our outlets and live in caves. It saves energy.

PC, you're not looking at the big picture. It's not just him telling people to smarten up, it's a lot of people. That spreads over a larger area than you think.
Rantent, you're clearly missing the obvious, he's saying don't leave things on when you're no using them, such as people who leave their computers on 24/7 for no reason. He's not saying stop using them all together =/
*cough cough* CHEEZE 24/7 op SEN ops

Lucky(or unlucky, whatever) me, my mom never uses the air conditioner.
Stop complaining about us using power. WE PAY FOR IT! We get what we pay, stop complaining.
What about idle bots? You have to leave your computer on. Blackouts only last a minute to a week (Like New York). And theres some blackouts that somebody just plugs out your fuse box or cut your powerline instead of wasting a lot of energy.
btw, I barely get blackouts from a lot of eletricity. What about Public Buildings? Don't they use a lot of energy?
First off, If I left all of my electronics on, and a few other's who live nar me, it doesnt matter, it's not going to black out the whole USA, just a town, or at a crazy most, a city. (Doesnt matter, I dont live in the cities.) Second, this is a stupid thread with no meaning.
What if you and the other 900 million or whatever amount that lives in the US decides to leave everything on with you? We're screwed. You wonder where the oil goes, where your bills go, and where the power goes. This is one place it goes. Conserving not only saves you money, but benefits the rest of us in the long run.

Yea, I'm sure that will happen.
Ahem* Let me first state that there is enough power flowing threw North America/Canada (Thats right we exist you damn nongeographical people) to supply us even if 1/4 of the Plants were off so stop ur whining...*ussy...
So, just because we have the extra resources, we shouldn't be concerned with the fact that they're limited?
The only way if NA dose go into complete black out is the day The Rock is turned back into a prision lol
Really, if it was even possible that means that EVERY Nuclear, solar, hydro, oil, coal, wind, geothermal power plant goes over their capacity and also the back up ones too as well as the neighboring country's as well. If it dose happen, wtf is Bush doing?
