I just got an idea for a defence map. The basic idea is like 20 defence maps in one. Kind of like the map "26 tricks".
This is gonna have a bunch of different scenarios that you have to complete to make it to the end. If you lose at a scenario, you wont get a trophy for that area. The person with the most trophies in the end wins.
Some of the maps would include small versions of sunken d, marine d, another d, lurker d..... etc. Just a bunch of different maps basically.
What do you guys think?
The ideas been done. A guy tried out with that kind of map. He called it the Best D Ever. The difference is I'm sure you could do a lot better of a job since he used programs like ISOM and staredit...
Sounds great, I've heard of The BEST D Ever...couldnt play it thought (b.net users cant wait 2 seconds for a download to end) but i think it'd be great if a SEN member made it since I know many of you are pro mappers.
Yeah I was thinking about the downloading time if I made it 256 by 256, so I was thinking I would try to squeeze it into a 192 size map.
With all the resources available from this site I know it would turn out to be a good map. Especially if a few people got in on it, and helped out.
