I think you hit the suscribe to forum button and from tehre you can change it to recieve no emails. Eitehr that or from somewhere in the control panely deal.

My Controls -> Subscriptions (topic or forum, on the left side), select one and choose "unsubscribe" in the dropdown at the bottom.
