Staredit Network -> Games -> Is SC getting old?

I just went over my friends list profiles (click the friends button) and realized that over 1/2 of the accounts are non-existant or will be in a week. I didnt really see anything wrong with sc until yesterday... and then it hit me :
1 : qPKing is leaving so what maps can we look up to?
2 : none of my old frineds are on anymore
3 : sf corrupted my greatest map yet so it wont get finished
4 : is 6 years of sc (4 on battle.net ) enough???
help me with this guys...

P.S. is killer2001 even working on the ff7 series anymore???

Its kind of old but theres still people who make good and creative maps which makes the game fun to play. So i say no.

Of course it's an old game, but it doesn't matter. If you're tired of SC, then quit, don't just play because your friends still play if you think it's outdated/not fun anymore. Don't know about you, but I play SC because it's enjoyable.

SC is old... thats why Blizzard came out with WC3 so they could get all the people leaving SC to come back and play WC3

It'll never 'get old' for me (it'll more than likly, just be to big a commitment for me to want to play well). Take a break from UMS and play some 1v1s =/

I've already gone through 1

Just stopped working, no cleaning or anything could fix it. Turned it over, and it was covered in scratches.

Evrey day that I play starcraft, It get's old. The only thing that is keeping me on starcraft, Is friends and the love of map making

Sc was getting old in 2002, in 2003, in 2004, in 2005. I mean it's a 7 year old game already. Yes it is old. Most games don't live 7 years and still pop 120 thousand people at times online.

It is old, but there is nothing wrong with getting old. Sc got old but had a bowflex and stayed super fit.

SC is only 7 years old. Super Nintendo is even older and I still play it. So, to me SC isn't old at all.

It got old for me a while ago. I have barely any intrest in starcraft, i have nohting better to do right now so i "play starcraft" but more so just sit in a channel and talk.

Any game that can pull 20,000 votes in world tour poll overnight isn't "getting old". Starcraft is as fun as ever. If you get bored of it, take a 2 week break and play something else. Then return.

Yeah i might do that, but i bet i wont even want to return

Im kinda bored of computer games right now...I wanna get going and finish my lame website that im working on now and get better at that type of stuff, cuz i plan to go into computers and stuff at school, so why not get a head start.
