I was just wondering who on SEN knew people in the military =)
I don't take it veterans count.
I guess not >< I should've clarified.
My brother is going
into the military... Does that count?
Of coise! My sister is going to college on a ROTC scholarship. She'll be in military soon. And my best friend is in Marines Boot Camp, another friend has graduated boot camp, and another just came back from Coast Guard Bootcamp. There are a few people from my church as well, but I don't know them.
My daddy and grandpa are veterans, and my friend's dad was a marine. Lots n lots of people I know.
My step Grandpa was a marine and was in WW2, and Korean War
My brother going into Marines also.
Well, I have a friend joining Military right now.
So Farty, dose this mean you'll be joining the Marines too?
Hell no.
Im a lazy ass who lets all the others die defending my house.
(jk... I just dont wanna)
My father is a DOD in Canada at the moment. Canadian military training <3
My friend who lives across the street is an army ranger, just got back from Iraq!!! And it was his last tour of duty, now he is going to...I geuss...retire? From the military and use the college funds he got to go to college.
About half the people in our town are with the military.
Military entertainment seems to be our town's only purpose.
Neghibor was a marine in WWII, visited Heroshima 3 weeks after we blew the :poo: out of it.
I'm in JROTC, I'm getting completely out of it once I graduate.
Does it matter which military?
Voyager: No
BeeR: I bet you could continue if you're a big track star. (or am I confusing you with someone else?)

JROTC can be pronounced Jay-Rot-See which sounds kinda like Nazi which is how alot of kids in my class thought of it as. What I think is how the
does marching for an hour make you a more trustworthy and better citizen. Or how physical fitness makes you a great president. The whole program has bigger motives than what people might assume. In my opinion.
well its more physcological, all that hard work and drilling breaks people down and then they are built back up again a better person over all.
Edit:
Why am I not one of your heros??? -_-
My uncle used to be in the air force. As for people in my family currently in the army, there are none.
One of my relatives who's dead now was at D-Day though.
Three of my uncles and two of my cousins are in the Canadian military. One of my great-uncles fought in D-Day.
No, we're hippies.

Yes that's me, but I'm not that into the program, I'm in it because it's better than the other stuff at my school.
