Do you take the counter-strike game serously? Well many people curse and yell when they get pwnd in the game. There could be nudity and alot of bad laungage. But still even 6 year-olds play it. But still whats your opinion about the game. Do you like it? Do you think it shoild get banned from kids? Do you yell when you get pwnd?

No i don't take the game seriously. Like all games its there to entertane you, People who take games like this or infact anygame seriously need to get a hold of there life and open a door.

You know the game Counter-Strike. Many people, when they get pwnd they usally curse or yell or stuff like that. Do yuo do it if u play? And also there could be some nudity and alot of bad language. Many young kids even 5 year-olds play it. Whats your comment about this addicting game that people take too seriously? And whats your comment about the game.

Counter strike 1.6 owns Also, this is another game that could be rated AO because people spray porn... although never mind because in the options you can choose to not allow sprays to be shown.. also some people do take it to serious but i dont care this game is (dont shoot me) better than starcraft O_O

I play. I dont use the mic or type much becase that gets you killed... I dont take it very seriously. I usually disconnect and play somewhere else if the group is being really lame

And no, I hate the game. Everyone says it's really realistic but it's not even close. The game is just plain stupid.

Counter Strike has bad graphics, Therefor I hate it... Any game with bad graphics isn't any game that I would like to play.

And if I get pwned in a game, I don't get all mad and want to kill the person, I just keep playing the game, Or join a different game.

Rather ironic then, zero, that you seem to think vincent is so cool, after all, isn't he from ff7, an excellent game with poor graphics (they WERE top of the line....8 years ago)

I don't take it seriously, its a fun game to play and I think source is better!!!
Its a fun learning game to learn strategies and tactics and knowing your enemy.
Its even better if your in like law enforcements or military.

Counterstrikes a fun game, but once u start getting really into it its very angrivating and stressing... To be stressed is not what u want from a game so therefore it would loose points if i rated it... If your wanted to be stressed you'd just be a teacher.. duh.

Not for some people. Alot of people think that Resident Evil's graphics suck, And Starcraft's graphic's own.

Starcraft looks good mainly due to the fact it's all sprites you could edit using paint.

And no, I don't scream like a whackhead if I die. I'm used to dieing with my MP5 in hand. ^_^

Hate it. The only good thing about it is the maps and graphics (somewhat), but the gameplay is just a gambling slot machine of whether the bullets connect to their intended targets or not (and the euphoric rush that's supposed to follow), with the illusion of gameplay wrapped around it. It draws in even the newbs on that rewards-based principle, and hugs them together under the cozy blanket with another illusion: team play (which, except for experienced clan matches and such, rarely involves any real team work to speak of).

And what's worse: As it spreads around and draws people in, it inevitably forms elite groups of those with Too Much Time On Their Hands™ who practically make the game their life, and thus further reinforce and propagate the phenomena.


Further, it's not even that good of a game in it's own right. The player physics are sloppy (climbing a ladder backwords while firing a 2-handed assault rifle with your flashlight on = impossible), the weapons are imbalanced with their prices and functions, with some even being just plain useless, and the gameplay modes are about as diverse and meaningful as a KKK meeting. It's a creation that perpetuates it's own wasteful, self-recursive existence through people's unyielding ignorance.

Plus, it's not even a real game. It's a damn mod.

I do have to agree with Tux. Counter-Strike is a very slipshod mod for Half-Life, and people seem not to realize that runs off HL engine. Anyhow yeah, you center up for their head, they center up to yours, you shoot first, miss... They shoot next hit. Which I don't refer to it as a slot machine, I refer to them as dice guns... But I might consider calling it that. Yeah... The teamplay is pretty horrible in it too... It's pretty much entering a big team battle by yourself on halo 2... People just randomly going about and who ever happens to win, wins.

The only two good mods provided for HL I've seen are Day of Defeat, and Natural Selection.

I'm glad to see someone else hates chance based FPS.

CS aims for realism, yet has little of that.
Graphics - too blurry textures :/
Movemes - slow as hell, impossible movement(ladders)
Weapons - poor selection, weird behavior
Hackers - full of them

Microphone talking... UGH! the voices T.T

Well it is an old mod, along with an old engine... That'd be no different from going about Starcraft's graphics... Back around when HL, then CS his shortly after, they were kind of limited to the changes in their mod. Because back then it was either dial up... Or 200 a month T1 connection. But there after people seemed to grow an emotional attachment to the way the game is.

That's true... Graphics don't make a game either... But neither does a mod.

Pretty much CS is is a hyped up classic... It needs to be put in the glass case along with Doom and both stop making crappy sequals. Games only good in their own time segments, but don't cut the cake for the standards of today's FPS.

Counter-strike is ok, but i'd prefer halo2.

And most of all i'd stick with starcraft since nothing else can beat that game.
