Mines the Order Of the Pheonix

I would say the prisoner of azkaban.

I also like order of phoenix mainly due to the amount of anger tension there is in that book, but then it saddened me too badly that sirius died.

And this last one made me even sadder that ********** died...

THe first harry potter book was just basically an intro to everything. It seemed a bit cheezey in a way IMO.

The second harry potter was really suspenseful and to some, scary, as it is about some mysterious creature prowling the school grounds.

The third harry potter book was one of my favorite books as it also introduces harry's god-father. It gives you a warm feeling knowing that harry has some sort of parent still around.

The fourth harry potter i can't remember all of it since it was pretty boring IMO, only at the end did it get interesting for me (where he faces voldemort).

The fifth Harry Potter book was very very emotional. I could sense so much anger in that book. It was very fun to read. It saddened me deeply that Sirius Died.

The sixth Harry Potter book was much calmer than the previous one. I haven't finished it yet so I can't say much about it. But it saddened me deeply that ********** died.

I knew lots of people who just plain hated the 5th book when it came out. I guess it was because of the fact that someone special died. xD

I think all the harry potter books were good, but the 1st and 2nd are at the bottom of my list. The rest are pretty equally at the top, since each book had something special smile.gif

Someone needs to add spoilers to the title of this thread since Millenium already spilled that Sirius dies. I read all the way up to book 5 so far and I kind of like it because the book had a lot of anger in it. Yeah Harry seems cooler like that. If they let him go he would've killed a lot of people. My favorite so far is Prisoner of Azkaban but I gotta read HBP first.

Philisopher in Canada?)

Am I the only one that noticed that he called the "Sorcerer's Stone" the "Philosopher's Stone"?
>_>

Oops, sorry.

I liked Prisoner of Azkaban most, personaly, though I haven't read Half-Blood yet.

Prisoner of Azkaban was best and EzDay281, I can almost guarantee Half Blood Prince is not as good at Prison of Azkaban. I think my order is for best to worst P of A, Goblet, Order of Phoenix, Philosopher/ Socerer (why is it Socerre in USA and Philisopher in Canada?), Half blood then last Chamber of Secrets.

last Chamber of Secrets

Alot of ppl say they didnt like that 1, i liked it though cuz it was like full of mystery with the whole snakey thing prowling around the school.. it was a little short though.

Where is the option "I have never read any of the books, and don't plan too anytime soon, but would not like to read spoilers while reading this thread?"

I read maybe 2 or 3 of the books when I was visiting my family a few weeks ago, but I don't really like the value systems Rowling likes to convey (rather I simply don't agree with them, or else find them to be rather shallow). But besides that, the stories themselves are decent, but I could probably come up with better stuff than that if I put my mind to it.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix    [ 3 ]

Huh.
#5 would have to be the one I liked least.
In order from least to greatest:
OotP
Goblet of Fire
Sorcerer's Stone
Chamber of Secrets
Prisoner of Azkaban
As I've said before, I haven't read HBP yet, so I can't judge that one.
