Why the hell not?

I like pretty much any type of game except RPGs. This is because in the past, they had good stories, but now, they feel rehashed and cliche, aka save the world from this person, etc. This also applies to Zelda, but there is a major difference.

The turn-based battle systems feel repetitive. You use the same exact spells and attacks over and over... It feels like work. I like real-time games that are more intense and have battles that look different. The outcome is much faster since you don't need to wait for menus. About battle lengths... turn-based takes much longer than normal and it really becomes annoying when you spend half an hour on a boss, only to discover it defeats you when you take down 9/10 of it's hp. Want long battles? Play Skies of Arcadia... I can however, stand card turn-based games. The reason is because cards or randomized and there is a lot more actions than just attack, spell, item or run, aka strategy.

First Person games are okay, but they feel all too similar. I'd like a realistic game, and don't even mention Rainbow 6. I'm talking about a game with no crosshairs, gauges or even a HUD.

A good game for me is one that doesn't feel repetitive and has many ways to do something. It could also focus on different gameplay styles as Eternal Darkness does to it's story or Metroid Prime on exploration.

Right now I like MMORPG best (WoW addicted ), but I think RTS is the category I like best.

FPS all the way - the true game for men

RPGs, especially Turn Based. I like games where you take all the time you want. No rushing, just all thinking and strategy. and when u fight somebody, do you keep punching them until they die? No, they fight back, and that's exactly what TBC represent, and when there is critical hit, you prolly do 2 hits in a row.

No logic there

It would have to be RPG. Doesn't matter to me if its TBC or not. I like that fact that you can make your hero[s] stronger if you can't beat somebody.
Also they are very time consuming. On a couple RPG's I've spent over 115 hours playing.

I picked RPGs, although I like like RTS almost as much. With Starcraft I can have both and that's why its my favorite game!

Why aren't sports games a choice? My favourite games are sports simulations...

I'd like any and every type of game except for sports. Like playing mostly rpgs and games like starcraft and diablo2.

I like TPS. But not just Shooter, what my dad calls "Third Person Slasher" anywhere from Dynasty Warriors to Zelda, I know Zelda is an RPG but it's in Third Person view, and you slash thigns ^_^

3rd Person Real Time Strategy. Can't forget the cult classic Sacrifice can we?

I also like tactical RPGs like Fire Emblem, and fighting games (Especially 2D)

FPS RPG RTS and Card games, but I put RPG cause you can do all in one, some RPGs even have RTS features like micromanagment.
