this took some thinking...I guess I would say Cloud's first sword in FF7 or the Rainbow sword in Chrono Trigger (that thing does some serious damage)

Lets see... Alot of people love shotguns, but they're disgusting at range... Sniper Rifles are also a favorite, but then obviously are disgusting in assault and hard to kill large numbers with the slow cooldown rate, even on semi-autos. Now the average machine gun (Usually similar to an M4) is good, but not the master of assualt. Blades obviously master assault, but obviously aren't any good from any distance! Now a minigun, it rips through enemies in assault, it's very hard to miss a ranged target with 500 bullets flying at them, and can obviously kill huge numbers...

No no no Miniguns are good but since ur talkin about Shooters (from the sounds of it) theres a tie between two, one being the Sniper Rifle (cause eveyone gets newbish with it obviously but still extremely useful) and the Rocket Launcher from Unreal Tournament(because you can load up to 5 rockets at once and launch em, or 6 grenades and toss em

You obviously didnt read my post fully. Sniper rifles only own at ranged, because they have an extremely high cooldown rate, and not much bullets per magazine.

What are you going to do, blow both of yourselves to peices? And, since rocket launchers have an EXTREMELY high cooldown rate, if you miss a target, then your rendered unarmed for a few seconds.

The ****tiest gun (underestimated?) in every game is always the funnest to play with. My brother had CS Source... the double pistols were downright classy.

Reminds me of Manhunt where at the start of the game you have to use whatever you can find as a weapon. Like plastic bags, glass shards, etc.
