I am wondering about these other expansions that can be read about at

I've heard mixed reviews about them, and wonder if they would at all be worth checking out. Anyone here ever played them?

It does suck. They don't further the original Starcraft storyline more so, it's more of a side-plot to keep you occupied. There's no voice acting either.

I played one of em i borrowed off a friend long time back.
I think it was Insurrection. If it had the case cover with a planet looking like a grid or something. I didnt get to play much of it so i dont know how good or bad it was.

I don't even think they were done by Blizzard... Pretty much Hellfire for Starcraft.

If anyone has them, I believe they are downloadable as much as any other campaign. I would like to d/l them. Of course, now that I've said that, it's probably illegal, and this site wouldn't tolerate that I imagine.

Does anyone know if the new heroes and the Argus stone are real new units added into the editor, or are they merely renamed units. The only reason I see this as a possibilty is because of the units available in the editor that are used in the Enslavers campaign (Like Alan Schezar).

Wow, never heard of these in my 5 years of SC. Do they have any units? I skimmed the articles and didn't fing anything.
Does anyone remember the mod where shuttles had attacks (icons were radiation things) Defilers had venom, Templars could attack like tassadar.. its like all the unused attacks were there. Razagal was also a playable unit.. anybody remember what the mod/campaign was called?

Retribution looks nice, but insurrection is actually worse than many of the campaings at CC.org.

No, they didn't have any new units, it was just campaigns... I remember hearing that one of them had something like 1000+ maps though.
