I'd say going to tech support is my mood changer of the day. Tech support it's the same thing... They either have you do things you've already tried. Then they'll have you do steps to find information, without asking if you know first, or how. Like Linksys walked me through to getting my goddamn IP Address I already know, instead of asking me. So far wireless networking has been annoying.
And everytime they never get to the solution of the problem. I always end up fixing it. Next time I goto tech support, I'm just going to ask how to access certain things.
Today, I was trying to get my wireless game adapter for X-Box to get on the network. And of course like any network unit I've bought the instructions there never work. So I went to tech support, and half way into walking me through, the whole deal, the Tech Support just left into somewhereland. I watched two shows, went to the bathroom, came back and the tech support still hasn't responded back. However they did help as much get me into the configuration of the unit. And I did the rest myself. But on someone on who doesn't know anything at all, would be the same as leaving somone in a desert.
Then the tech support treats me like I'm an idiot most the time.
Tech: "Now hold the reset button"
Tech: "And I'll tell you when to release"
Me: "My router is in another room"
Tech: "NOT THE ROUTER the game adapter"
Me: "Ummmm, didn't you tell me to hook the game adapter to the router?"
...silence...
Tech: "Oh yes."
Never really been to tech support. But if I go i'm taking a fifth of whiskey before I go, and then two shots of Vodka so I get really thrased

You obviously own a PC, if you had a mac, you wouldn't need tech support.
Most of the time when I go to BTS, I'm usually going to just ask them where to buy tacos, or just ask a bunch of stupid questions just to waste their time.
Actually, it's for my X-Box, but oh well.
Same company.

"I need some advice but it probably won't work and I'll fix it the next day". Wait a second, that actually happened.

Same company.
I don't remember Microsoft making computers... I always thought they made software, games, and hardware accessories, with the exception of the X-Box.
Crap, going to have to goto tech support
Only had to once. This is what I get for using ME...
I don't need tech support, my extensive knowledge of smashing things allows me to fix anything in a jiffy.
Hmm... I need help
Well it really depends on what kind of tech support. If it's an online one (where they have foreigners like Indians who can't speak english very well), i'd be like ugh...
Never been to tech support, never will. I have never thought very highly of help from tech support people
I figure it out myself.
