Why was my thread closed?
According to the forum description, the Null forum is for "Forum games [and] topics with one liner replies".
How does my thread not fit into that description?
I don't want to do this over PM, because I'd like the response to be seen by everyone.
QUOTE(Rules)
It is NOT a forum for flaming or spam.
The number thread was the purest spam money can buy. What is the difference between forum games (or one line replies) and spam?
This forum explicitly is made for threads such as mine.
I found it quite informative, educational, and entertaining.
I'm seeing the past... Plain and simple, mods think topics should be "useful." Which doesn't make much sense that your thread would would be locked and not "what the heck are you listening to?" Standards are rather random around here.
"What are you listening" to served more of a purpose than the number thread. Number thread probably shouldn't have been locked, though. "Listening" had more relevance to anything than just randomly typing 1...2...3..4...5, etc.
Standard is a standard, you either believe something or you don't.
The "What are you listening to now?" thread is a way of sharing what music you like.
The number thread served no other purpose than to take up extra bytes in the SEN database.

Same could be said about his number forum. It was socializing through recreation. Sometimes people get to know each other better through activities rather than straight up conversation... There's a reason there's the saying "actions speak louder than words."
He could have modified it to, "you can only do a number at a time," and "you must have something with your post, picture, phraze, statement, conversation, a joke, etc."
ADDITION:
And besides I made a more in detailed topic about music. So really there's no need for "what are you listening to?"
Key phrase is he could of, but he didn't.
However moderation expects you to see unseen rules and have sense about it. Why not the same for his topic? Again scattered standards.
I agree with ihatte or w/e his name is
. it doesnt break any of the rules of the forum =/
Bt it does take up space for no reason at all. Just typing a number doesn't provoke conversation or "socializing through recreation." How many people there said, "Oh hey, nice number choice! I'm so-and-so, nice to meet you. Tell me about your life story?" None. It was a waste of space and was pure spam.
Edit:
If you guys really want to complain about the way things work here, then go somewhere else. This site doesn't have to support your claims and your views, so there's no point in you continuing to complain. The fact is, its their site and they can do what they please.
You had to psot a pre-assinged number. Everybody knew what the next person would post and that isn't usefull at all. The thread only made people want to post certain numbers.
This thread will also be closed, you should've PM'ed the person who closed your thread.
>Closed
Wait, I made the rule, I'll tell you.
One liner replies, refers to information, or games. Posting numbers in order, is spam, because it only requires a person to look at the previous post and increment the number. If its a topic about "whats your xbox live gamer tag" or "whats your favourite color", its more of a "about yourself" kindof one line response topic.
