The title got your attention, eh? Anyways, I was just wondering what you guys thought of Nintendo changing "Princess Toadstool" into "Peach." I'm from the Nintendo old school and have never liked the change. Whenever I hear the word Peach referring to woman I think of a woman's p blushing.gif ssy. Also, her head has gotten larger over the years. Maybe Nintendo should revert back to the older ways if they want to improve their game sales (I mean, come on! Mario Baseball!?).

Another thing, I also didnt like them changing the Yoshi sounds either. I like the funny mounting noise from Mario World, but hated the Yoshi Story sound effects. It sounds like he's retarted or something.

What do YOUUUU guys think?

I don't really mind, people now-a-days who in real life call Halo 2, H2, because they're that :censored:ing impatient to add in an extra syllable, will NEVER say Princess Toadstool. It's "too long too say", besides, no one really knows what a toadstool is these days...

A toadstool is a poisonous form of mushroom that will kill you if you eat it biggrin.gif

I love mario games, especially the ones from the original entertainment system and SUper nintendo ones. The N64 ones were also pretty good, but the gamecube ones are sucking ass.

I agree, although I that Super Smash Bros. Melee was teh PWNAGE. If you wanna see a loving tribute to a classic from the SNES, play my Super Mario RPG map!

I'm brutal with self-promotion.

What do you guys think of Mario's change from being absolutely silent in the older games to doing all that "Yippee" "Mama Mia" "Let's-a GO!" stuff?

Racial stereotyping?

And yelling when he jumps. I mean, what was wrong with the 'doink' sound that they'd been using?
