I really liked both movies.

Just got back home from the second one, actually smile.gif.

They were done with expertise, and I love how they satirize 70's kung fu flicks.

Tarantine actually has stated that he plans to make a Kill Bill Vol. 3

What are your thoughts on the Kill Bill movies?

Actually, shamefully, I haven't seen any of them though I have been planning to for a long time. I just don't have any time left for movies. School work along with SEN is driving me to my limits. Everybody around me has seen it, even those squemish guys that don't like gore (for the record, I love gore. Not horror kind of gore, but more like blowing heads off and slice and dice kind of gore). Damn, I feel so left out. Then again, I could just get the DVD and watch it during the summer. But other things precede it, like watching Matrix: Revolutions first, and then finishing the last Lord of the Ring movie, which i haven't watched yet. Grr....so many movies...so little time!

I think the goriness of Kill Bill is misconstrued.

It is all done to satirize the 1970's kung fu movies. Take a look at movies like the Swordmaster series. When a person get taps in the arm, their arm not only breaks off, but spray blood out like a geyser. Kill Bill is just making fun of that, not trying to gross anyone out.

It would be every grosser if they made it more realistic instead of using the off-color (too bright) blood, and the amount of blood that they use.

I haven't seen the first one yet. I really should go do that...

Planned to go see the first one; it looked cool actually.

Ended up not seeing it... As well as any other "good" movies.

I think critism says KB movies are made for "low intelligence" people that likes "unreal" stories only for special effects.... Bleh

I can't even DL them anyway; my couputer would just be too weak to even not lag while playing it. The sound would just end up being 5 minutes after the movie itself near the end :/

I've seen the first one and It was AWSOME!!!!! I mean, all that blood gushing out of their arms and heads and legs! It is unbelievably funny, yet cool! I have plans to see the new one, but no one around here cares, so I don't here about it! I would tell everyone here, go and see it before you post again, because you have no idea how cool it is. In fact, all you have to see is the first one! I mean, it has awsome music, and you'll get hooked! Well, I just loved everypart of the first one, especially the Anime scenes!

Bah, well they don't get the first one. The special effects are not special at all. They are purposefully done badly (as I have said many times) to satirize old kung fu flicks.

I'm not saying that you think this btw, I'm just commenting on whatever critic(s) said that.

Yes, the plot was 'unreal' but so was LOTR.

I don't like them at all. It has a small plot.

You know, it is said that if your not pleased by simple things in life anymore, your life is crap! So I would rethink it! I mean, the plot is simple, but how they get there is ####ing awsome!

The plots aren't that simple.

No more simple than the other movies out right now.

Saw only the first one, but it was pretty good still. My fav parts were the switch over the anime for the background on lucy lui's character, and the big brawl near the end of the movie. That schoolgirl was hots!

Your right, at the end of the first they did throw in that add on to the plot. I wont say what it is for all those people who haven't seen Kill Bill: Vol. 1 ! Still, it is cool.gif

Ok these movie rock! I haven't seen any of them. But gore, sex, and more. (Hey I made a rhyme) I'm renting the first one soon. I also want to see Van Helsing offtopic.gif

I saw them both too, and i really liked them smile.gif

the last scene in KB1 is what made the movie, not because its gory or w/e, cuz it's never been done before

and KB2 explains the plot in KB1 with a little more action disgust.gif
