Who here has family who plays starcraft. And what is their relation?

My cousin

My brother will be when he get's a computer after his house finances. And my dad, but I don't play games with him.

My brother would, but he doesn't want to put-up with having to use Winblows, even if it's through Wine.

Cry about it, you don't deal with Windows when you're playing with Starcraft, only for the few clicks to get into Starcraft.

My brother got it from a friend for his birthday some amount of years ago, he played it a bit, but i was the one who was addicted.

About 2 and a half years later after my cousin always seeing me play it, he decided he wanted to start playing it, now he plays it every once and awhile... (He usually plays it with me when he's over. One on the Imac and one on the eMac.)

My sister plays periodically and my Dad plays with me often. I don't know of anyone else in my family who plays.

My brother, who is 21 now, played SC since it came out til he went in the airforce.(1998-2001) During like 1999, when he would go work (at Wendy's, ROFL) I would sneak on the computer, log on his name (this is when I was 10, urgh) and play until he got home from work. I would play zergling madness, lurker D, I didn't even KNOW about the friends list command..so all I played were public games.. Then, when he came back, I would log off quickly, jump on the couch and watch TV. He would get extremely mad for some reason if I was on, meh.

So yeah, my brother, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't even be here :\ (Some of you want to kill my brother now :0)

I play it of course, my brother plays it alot, but not as much as me. I've cast the Starcraft spell on two of my younger cousins. Although they want the high-end special effects in their games, they've fallen for the substance of Starcraft

My Cosin recently switched from Ever Quest to World of WarCraft. It would be soo cool to have a family member into it as much as I am or was.

I'm pretty much a loner.

Edit: A bunch of my friends used to play, Pretty much just melee though. I have a goodfriend that made maps for a little bit but never beyond the initial Staredit phase. (or course back then that was alot more common)

My brother plays starcraft.

Lets see, my dad plays Doom. My cousin and uncle are Blizzard junkies, but play damn near any good game. I usually go over there for a few weeks during the summer and we have WC3 LANS, SC LANDS, TS:2 LANS, HALO 2 LANS, and whatnot.

I have a few friends that own starcraft. One plays UMS on a regular basis. None really know or care about this website. Go figure

Family? No one plays this. I'm the only real gamer in the house, my sisters like games like The Sims 2 or whichever.

I know of other people who play StarCraft, but no one in my family. But I run this internet cafe for my church, and I laugh out loud whenever I see people are visiting StarCraft.org. I don't tell them what's so funny though, it's funnier that way. One day when I see someone looking at StarCraft.org, I'm going to ask them for their name and then make a news post on the front page saying "Hi <name>!!!"

Good news, I've just converted my female cousin to Starcraft. She's spoiled, 16, and like, totally clueless. But hey! I've worked my charm once again.

my brother got it when he was fifteen and i was 12, he played it for like 2 years and moved on, he plays like high end games now like Counter Strike Source,Doom 3 , and Half life 2, that kinda stuff. dunno y but im still addicted to the 2d RTS Starcraft. and im afriad i will always be

I am the only person in the town that plays it as far as i know...my dad doesnt play any games unless their Flight Sims even then he cant cause our controlers are busted...

I got my dad to try once, but he just was like, "Yeah, this god mode sucks, I'm going back to play Doom II."

Then I went to see how many guys he killed while playing the level "Go 2 It" with monster respawn set to on. He killed so many, the game's engine couldn't handle it and it started lagging
