Okay, I'm thinking of some unfacy box to go on the main portal with a breif discription of who we are and what our values are.

We are (breifly):
  • UMS Map making community
  • Map playing community
Our values:
  • No hacks, illegal utilities and anything of the sort
  • No Map Unprotection
  • Give everyone a fair chance to ask questions
Alright, I suck. What does staredit network mean to you (be serious or post delete 0wn4ge) fear.gif

This goes on the main page, and its the first thing n00bs see.

- You start up as a very respected member here; YOU make your own reputation afteryard.
- We encourage "good" map-making (most Madness and Prank maps are forbidden)

All I can think of.

What do you mean by illegal utilities specifically? No-CD cracks? Key Generators? Stuff like utilities that allow you to see the entire map on B.Net? Because I'm pretty sure I've seen the first two on one of SEN's affiliated sites. I think it was StarCraft index...

If you see any on out PRESENT affiliates, then notify Yoshi. Our present ones are supposed to be completly clean; otherwise, if they don't change, its bye-bye.

We did affiliate with websites that had hacks/ill-programs before, but they either removed them or we lost 'em.

We have 2 affiliates that currently hold cracks and cd key utilities that I am aware of. I decided to lean down a bit, because cracks are actually legal, and cd key utilities don't work for bnet.

But you will NEVER see either of those on this website.

crazy.gif Double post?!?

I'd suggest maybe pinning it right below the user portal thing, so I don't have to scroll past it every time I visit the site.

*remember I'm lazy...* wink.gif

Done. BTW only root admins can double post, its how the coding works.

I figured that was it, but felt required to post in some way my recognition of the usually-forbidden event... smile.gif

I'm the admin, thus I know how to manage my double posts (plus, this is the garbage forum). I wish I could make it a timed double post (if like 2 hours have passed, you can double post) but I do not currently have the skill to do so.
