If you wanted to make an adventure quest map, first of all, it'd take a TON of triggers, and would make the map incredibly confusing with lots of bugs. When you try and make maps trying to imitate games like this, theres really no point because what you're trying to do is make it as close to the real game as possible, but then why don't you just play adventure quest instead of some starcraft imitation? Also, you're saying that you want it to remain single player, well that would be really boring. AQ is already single player, and to me, the only reason i'd make a starcraft AQ is so i could battle different monsters with friends, since AQ won't let you in the first place.

what i meant is a map that can be multiplayer but still singleplayer compatible

Wait Adventure Quest like that cheesy flash game? That's like that guy who tried to make a Runescape map...

you mean voldamort101, the guy who made runescape map? for me AQ is still better than Runescape

If it's anything like runescape or mmorpgs, it really shouldn't take that many triggers because there's practically no storyline.

Elemental Resistance PERCENTS. Ya, it would require plenty of triggers.

Though, for everyone that's saying that such a map would suck:
Think of it as any other Rpg, except AQ themed. The AQ game itself sucks, but an SC version would actualy be far superior.
And just the fact that it would be in SC would be enough reason to scrap the whole "alright, the game does X, we need to do X" philosophy.
And anyways, it would be a good excersize of creative triggering.
