UPDATED -- uBeR@TiOn v2.0.0.7
The latest update features a new trigger editor which allows both normal triggers and triggers involving Extended Unit Deaths to be easily created. You no longer have to worry about making a trigger for a specific unit and player. This is now done automatically. Just click, fill in a few options, and you're done, as if it was a normal trigger.
The program was released earlier than expected due to a patch on its way. I ask that everyone do NOT work on large projects or start any large projects with these triggers. Use them for fun and enjoy using them while you can.
You may ask, "Did all this go to waste?", and no, not all of it, but much of it may have.
If you have any bug reports regarding the Extended Unit Deaths, then we probably won't be able to respond to them fast enough. If you have any bugs regarding regular triggers or the program itself, then contact me (Deathknight) or LegacyWeapon.

A new patch??? ****ing DAMNIT!!
Let me take the time to say, Legacy took a majorly easy way out at byte modification and Uberedit has nothing on MemCalc 4
You can't use setto() on anything that isn't a 4-byte value.
And you have NO clue how to do version numbers LW

Why do you guys think SC is being patched?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MapUnprotector on 2005-08-07 at 01:17:07
Because MrrLL and DK think they are

It's the Mac crash. And it is financially best for Blizzard if everyone quit Starcraft. Then they'd have to buy more recent Blizz games. It isn't in Blizz's best interest to keep SC around.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MapUnprotector on 2005-08-07 at 01:20:28
Pfft, if it's the Mac crash why can't blizz just make it so that Mac's that have an EUD map just exit or close or something.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2005-08-07 at 01:21:49
They do. Macs running EUD maps close Starcraft. This is what is meant by "crash".

That s shame from Battle net!! Oh well... I'll stick with my 1.13 only in single player Well...Blizzard suck if they do this. Really, wtf is wron with that? Cheat in Multiplayer ? Lol wtf, the day next to a patch there already 20 new hacks.
Oh well... Uberation own I mean.. OWN!
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MapUnprotector on 2005-08-07 at 01:27:24
Ya it's funny because I bet they will only patch this because of the "Mac crash", yet they will allow hackers to create new hacks right after the patch is released. Yes blizzard, patch this but not eliminate hacks.

So? Why would you belive it now? There isn't even a reason for them to do it.

So the viruses in maps and mac crashing isn't a cause for them to patch?

You can't do viruses in maps.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MapUnprotector on 2005-08-07 at 01:38:41
Then why did MrrLL make a long post saying someone did, and someone sent a map with a virus to blizzard? What the hell...

Can't we just creat a new Sc Server which using 1.13 version?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by LegacyWeapon on 2005-08-07 at 01:40:07
First of all, in order for MemCalc4's unit editor to work, you need to know the original values as well. What if you don't know them? What if they are based on what you do in the RPG.
Next you should know that you can set things that aren't 4 bytes in size. You just set it for multiple things. Next time take a look at the editor before speaking.
Third, I'd like to know where MemCalc4 is going. I don't see anything other than the unit editor. Will there be new features? How will it look? Do I need to use SF? What if I cannot use SF? MemCalc4 is not even done so most of it is hypothetical?
What about the Weapon ID, Flingy ID, Order ID, and Unit ID? We don't know what each value is. In Uberation, the lists are provided.

Do they actually crash or just SC crash?

BTW, the news about the patch was from Entropy...

Bolt Head, I'm not the guy to start rumors. I posted what DK told me, and DK is usually trustworthy to me, god.
I did NOT post that just to get people going.

Do I sense regret you didn't do more?

How, pray, would I set a Marine's shield to 22 in UberEdit without knowing that its default value is 100?

Of course you need SF. Even with EUD's, you can't get far without SF (or SCMD, which is just as easy/hard to use as SF)

I could link to a text file, which I will.
Honestly, calm down. Sorry if I'm not blown away.
Also, in the IM convo devilesk PMed me, you scorn MemCalc for being a web-based program. That has its advantages. It requires 0 bytes extra disk space, and the computing is not done on your processor.

I'm writing a petition to save EUD. Theres no way 20 pages and countless experimantla maps, crazed SEN'ers testing on pubbies accused of hacking, reckless experimantal glee.... is all going to waste.
