Not many people know too much about this movie, but everyone should.
Hero is a martial arts film that came out in China last year, and took China by storm. It is being imported to America by Mirimax.
It is an amazing movie, to say the least. It is a lot like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, in that it has great action scenes, but also great acting. This movie also has a great story line (but not for those who like movies where the story line is simple and in chronological order). It has beautiful cinematography. You can find this movie at locally owned video stores sometimes. I doubt Blockbuster, hollywood, and other larger movie chains will have this movie until the Mirimax version comes out.
It also has an all-star cast of:
Jet Li
Donnie Yen
Tony Leung
Maggie Cheung
Zhang Ziyi
Chen Dao Ming
Y'all have probably only heard of Jet Li, and Zhang Ziyi, and maybe Donnie Yen, but the other cast members are big in China.
But check out some of the pictures from the movie, they will help show you how beautiful of a film it is.
Overall, it's an amazing film. If you liked Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, you'll love this movie.
If you hated CTHD, then you are crazy.

My family all hated cthd but I loved it. They were all like "Its too unrealistic, with people running on walls" etc... It got really annoying after a while...
