If you don't have my back, you don't need to pretend to. I want to know whether or not you the staff think I should keep my mod position. Afterall, I play SC only once every so often and I don't map. I know that Bolt made a comment about my abilities, and I have changed the way I hand warns and the such. However, with such threads like the ones here or here, I am wondering if I am doing a good job, not because I am being ridiculed...it is the same group pretty much every time...but because you are the staff, and this is more so your site. If you think I should step down tell me now and I'll put a word in with IP or Yosh.

Some people will never give up. You have been doing a fine job moderating. You were given a tough assignment, it isn't easy to settle debates that become flame wars. Just try to ignore ihatett. I don't know what started it, but ever since he changed his avatar and declared himself a capatlist (he is more of a nutter than anything, in my opinion), he has given his posts to rampant and mainly unchecked flame.
Your only real professional mistake in the affair was your stated reason for warning him. Don't be afraid to punish him for flaming, for that is his real offense. The most important thing in these situations is to stand strong with your opinion. The ungrateful flamers will look for every break in the wall to flame you through.
You are the target of this attention, because the anarchists at SEN see you as the weakest link. You have make minor mistakes in the past, and yu are relatively new. Also, your forums you moderate are where over 60% of the trouble on SEN occurs.
Stand strong, if you splinter, it will cause other disgruntled members to follow in inhatett's footsteps and SEN will fall to chaos.

Annie, don't worry. When you get to bigger sites, these things always happen. You'll never get 100% satisfaction from everyone.
If you are aggressive, then good forum goers will like you, jerks like ihateitt will not.
If you do nothing, good forum goers will hate you, jerks will like you.
There have been tons of people who didn't like me in the past. But its too bloody bad for them. You're one of the best moderators here, managing the harder forums. I would rather have you managing them above everyone else, since you've done the best job.

Personally, I think we should highly consider to ban him right now. Hes been nothing but a drain on resources and picks fights whenever he can.

Everyone gets flamed. Mods aren't any exception, besides more power to fight back with. If you can't take the heat, don't take the job.

Yeah, with Ihattet's two attack threads he tried his best to flame the living hell out of people while making it seem as if he is debateing. This is more the reason to ban him, I don't know if he has done anything since I closed his thread. (besides reopen it for a last reply then close it again)
Edit: Looked at some of his most recent post... Yeah he should be banned, every other post is an insult towards another.

I like how you Moderate Kame, reasoning with who you warned is actually good, but there has to be a time when you make your statements final. People will always try to persuade you, just present them the evidence agaisnt them and setle it down.
Personally I think I'm a terrible Moderator, But I'm excellent at enforcing the rules and I think to myself: "Screw him, he broke the rule he gets the punishmet, no reasoning."

I'm willing to reason with people but i've never reversed my decision on something because no one has presented a valid argument in a mature tone. As soon as they reply cursing me out or whatever i'm not going to change my mind even if there right. (makes me want to go warn random people for meaningless crap, then create the reason after they get pissed)
(except the time i warned a guy for something he did a year ago, that was a mistake)
