This happens all the time. Most of the time people cant even change all the names right (like shown in the mission briefings).
Did...you have to post the same picture 4 times. And another one 2 times.

just about to say that...i clicked every one thinking they were different.
DAMNIT YOU TRICKED ME INTO LOOKIN AT ALL OF EM! Your a big bully! But still who cares, they steal maps cause they cant do anything else themselves. And he shoulda changed the techdeath@hotmail thing cause...thats just dumb leaving it there.
Yeah, I know. At this point, everyone knows I made it, he only ruined his own reputation. It was protected with GUedit, but its strange he didnt bother to change the email address lol.

you made woohoo bound? never knew that... yoshi had his own map stolen.
There are map
unprotecters around, seen em before. Like before, I seen MaThRiX(U)'s S.W.A.T. map was made by a different person even the team color wasn't black.

Most people here on SEN do remember, but not everyone on battle.net does, since your name was also different back then.
I couldn't care less about battle.net users. Sometimes I would pop into games and people would reconize me, a few times they'd accuse me of name spoofing, and the rest of the time they dont care. I'd rather have people on the websites know me, apposed to on battle.net.

My last name was 'Technical_Death'. I changed it because I didn't like it no more.
Oh... Yoshi = that crazy guy...

I got one
Not like i even bother using it anymore though
Let's just say this, were all better off using starforge as a protector, or uber@tion (or w/e it was)
However most of them are outdated, and some contain trojans which can leave a backdoor in your computer. [Evil Hackers...]
I'm actually for Map Unprotection, but not for the purposes of name changing, or stealing, but rather improvement and such. I believe in open source, and any maps I've made I don't even use my name Coko, and leave a random name of my choice to release them. Still if you do care its a shame when it happens.
I remember the whole map unprotecting vs protecting fiasco back before Synd][cate hacked the site.
I've always been for unprotection for the same reason as Coko - it's Open Source, plus it encourages new mapmakers to get mapping seriously if they have examples to work from.

I couldn't agree more, but you're talking about humanity here. Humanity tends to have an evil, lazy side that craves for popularity. This is why unprotection is not premitted because as seen from the example above, is exactly what happens. I allowed & supported the Trigger Viewer because it was one step towards open source without letting people edit the authorship of a map.
