I've got thus UMS map, and units are created in one spot, sent to gather in another area, then ordered to attack a target location.
Anyway, For some reason, once a tank sieges, it wont tank mode to move out again, and hang out in one zone, which is really irritating cause it ends up plugging a choke point.
So is there a way I can force a tank to unsiege and move on? Short of having it removed and creating a tank in its place?

Ordering a tank to do anything will make it unsiege and do whatever you ask of it. So just order them to move.
Unfortunately, that didnt work for the large pileup I had.
I can only think of three reasons it wont work.
1: A research conflict ... they don't have siege researched.
(from what you described, this isn't the case)
2: They are attacking something and you are ordering them to patrol.
3: You aren't making the trigger right.
I have never had a problem making tanks unsiege with a simple move trigger, even if it is moving them to a location centered on them.
1. no
2. no
3. double-checked and no
Would you mind me seeing the map then?
Heres a suggestion:
Make the trigger affect only the player owning the tanks, and order them from a location or 'anywhere'.

Here. The area I'm talking about is where in the old percursor mission you started out with Gen. Duke. Blue tanks like to pile up there.

I'll try that.
Upload ZIP files with maps please, uploading scx and scm ruins them.
TD, is there a way you can prevent them from uploading scx/scm? ><
Nah, I'm too lazy.
I'll just live with the problem.

lol Hector, so im guessing you solved the problem, first you wanted help, now u don't. Sounds like your problem has been already answered. Well thanks to Chu i think.

According to him, my method doesnt work. I'd like anyone to try themselves to see if they can get it to work. Because in every situation I do it, it works.
yea... it works for me when u do sieged tanks 2.
It amazing what siege tanks can do!
