My friend ad I agree on option one and it sickens me how people at school try to say "pooned"..
What do you think?
I just say pooned to be in a sort of mocking way, it's funny.

Personally, I say the first one, so it's like p-owned.

Your friend is a retard (yes I am flaming - warn me or something). First of all, you don't pronounce it. Second of all, I think I know that kid ... And finally, if anything just say 'owned' and not 'pwned' because saying 'pooned' will just make you look stupid.
First of all I'm sure you don't know my friend.
I usually just say it around my friends which understand the meaning of the word, normally, to people that don't know, I just go "OWNED."
I think its closer to the forth one pawned, but as chuOS stated, just say owned cause its the same thing.
According to
http://www.pwned.nl (naughty language, violence,
beware), it's pooned.
I'll have to stick with the reliable sources.
BrE {{/pəʊn/}} it is.
I was about to say that the pronouciation of poon came from http:/'www.pwned.nl
but I suppose you beat me too it. P-owned still sounds the best!
Pwn.
Is there any other way to pronounce it?

Seriously though, if I were to break it up:
Pooun, with the sounds really closely and tightly smashed together so that pronouncing it is awkward.
But it makes sense, since that
is what a 'w' is- the junction, or superposition, or bridge, [or whatever you want to call it] between the sounds 'oo' and 'uh', 'p' is 'pu'(try pronouncing it without the 'u', it's, so far as I can figure, impossible), and 'n' is, well, 'n'. Unlike 'p', it's not a "hard" consonant so you can pronounce it smoothly.
IF you're basing it purely on spelling, that's the most logical pronounciation.
You know you spend too much time on the internet when you try to pronouce weird phrases and shortforms like pwn, lol, and so on.
When I first became aware of it, I used to say it like: "peh"owned (sort of like "teh"). Then when that became to much of a pain to say I started saying it like the first option, just "owned" starting with a "p"
POWNED!
I think pronouncing it "pooned" just sounds stupid and nonthreatening. Someone who has not seen it written as "pwned" may not make the connection between it and "owned"
Although, getting back to pronouncing it like "pooned," I think it would be funny to say "You just got harpwned!" (get it? Like a harpoon? Heh heh)

Exactly!
Pawned!
Its "pwnd". PWN with no vowels, in other words. I mean, it has no vowels, so how can you use vowels when pronouncing it? Oh god dammit, go get Speakonia and type in PWN and see what you get.
I say pohowned, but the sad part is that people think I'm serious if I say "omfg i pohowned u u noob lzozlorlzol."
It's same as pawn, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a n00b.
But anyone who says the word aloud is a retard as Chu said before. Saying words like "lol" and "noob" aloud is pretty damn gay too.
But in my head whenever I type words like that I do say it in my mind, and I do say pawn.
p-owned is just so lame. I can't believe that's the majority of people's definition. I'm never saying pwned again.
Pawned? Seriously? Like at the pawn shop. Give me a break.
There is no pronounciation.. it is an old typo of the word "owned" and people thought it was funny, so they would use that instead.
Stop being stupid.
But I said pooned a few times to make fun of pwned.nl.
No matter how you say it, you still failed at life.
I say "pooned" because that's what my friend uses, and we both got it off of Pwned.nl.
the actual "cool" way of saying it s plain old "owned" ignoring the typo. Just visit PurePwnage.com They even say it so many times. Even the name whne they say it sounds just like "Pure Ownage."

And if you think it's other than my pronounciation or the standard pronounciation("owned"), then you're a noob to English.

Pwn, WTF is that? Quit making these typos you idiots.
