Dark Throne looks kinda like outwar but less consenctated on spamming the world or getting your money

ROSE. Similar to Runescape as its free, but more like Diablo 2 in advanced features (Not web browser based).

I remember playing this crazy browser PRG once where you could actually fight canned tomatoes and gain chutzpah among other interestng qualities. And the classes were like "Disco Star Ninja" and stuff. That was definately fun for awhile. I wish I could remember the damn url for it though... hmm...

Another good non web browser based one is Maple Story. It may look wierd but it's pretty addictive.

Allright awesome! I finally found the link to the crazy RPG I mentioned earlier: The Kingdom of Loathing. Its pretty fun, but gets tedious after awhile. And to think this bit of insanity actually inspired me to make my own RPG... sheesh...

First of all, I know it wasn't free, I just had to say it
Second of all, why IS it free anyways? Do you just go around and play the free versions of games that people worked hard on because you don't want to pay a single cent?
Third of all, Guild Wars is free, the CD costs about 40 dollars but for the rest it's free, no subscription or anything, so don't get mad at ME because ure cheap.

I don't like how you said this because it makes it seem as if the people who make the games just made it so they make a wad of cash, news flash, w/e game you are talking about it obviously means there is a free version also, meaning that they were NICE enough to make a free version, not GREEDY enough to make a money subscription version. The people are placed higher because then people will pay for the game, if it was just the same game then no one would buy it, the staff needs money you know, often times it is just barely enough to pay them, not some overpriced money draining cost. 5 dollars a month! Minimum wage is 5 dollars an HOUR.

sorry i took so long to get back to this but i made this topic to show games that you can play just for a couple minute for a time killer and i said free browser based games

well yes so is half life 2, the sims, fallout, starcraft, warcraft 3, warcraft 2, diablo, fallout 2, gish, the sims 2, all the sims exspansion packsjust a very small list of what you seam to think of as "free" games
