I was reading Neiji's topic about his mouse acting funny, and it reminded me of something that happens to me:
When I'm moving my cursor and hit caps lock twice really fast, as long as I keep moving the cursor it will randomly and, as far as I can tell, unpredictably jump around, clicking, middle-clicking, and right-clicking.
I have done it on two computers, one is running Linux(It's Redhat or Debian, not sure), the other Winblows 98, and both of them use Logitech Trackballs, though different models.
I'm not sure about the keyboards.

Does this happen to anyone else? Why does it happen?

I've just tested it out on OS X and it doesn't seem to be doing that.

I think your hands move when you hit the caps lock so fast.

Out of curiosity, are you using a Trackman? It might have something to do with it.

And what does that have to do with my cursor moving fast?
I'm pretty sure that my thumb isn't rolling the ball so fast that I can't even notice it, especially since the trackball can't track that fast and would, for the most part, ignore such a signal.
