omfg, every1 is like :censored:ing about eud triggers not working. and saying that youll find another way to do it. hey, even if there is another way, blizzard will patch that too probably. im pretty sure they patch it because it leaves them damn liable to be sued by mac users. and we were all able to make maps before eud, so why are you suddenly taking them for granted and :censored:ing about it. if you cant make maps without using eud, you suck. thats all that needs to be said about it.

eud triggers are great. yes they are. they axpand the capabilitys of map making to a whole new level. However, we can live without them. if you didnt complain about not being able to modify weapons before eud triggers were out, theres no reason to now. if you want features like eud, go make a mod or something.

and stop blaming blizzard. its not even your game. they can do whatever the hell they want with it.

umm it seems like the person ticked off about them is you... and people didnt take them forgranted. everybody knew that it would be patched.

And i could care less about EUDs, they got boring.

You should see some of the people in op SEN, they are like "I HATE BLIZZARD" "SCREW YOU BLIZZARD".

My view is just, oh well get over it. Blizzard patched it, move on with your life because it's not like we haven't been playing SC for years without EUD's.

There goes Innovation Defence and that dragoon maddness map well good thing eud's are gone because i didnt really want to learn EUD's

I dont like the fact that these were rmeoved because Blizzard thinks they were a threat, if your comp cant handle them then get off your mac. But nooo Bliz had to patch it up and ruin my idea that woiuld have made my Campaign MUCH easier to play as to two different weapons. Damn you Blizzard...

Blizzard would rather keep the mac users and fix the secruity issues then satisfy your woe needs.

Well, being a fan of Rpg maps, I find myself quite disapointed.
So damned many things I could do in an Rpg with EUD's.
Now I have to go back to Lurkers and Bunkers.
BLEH.

I'm sad to see them go, but if Blizzard patched it to get rid of a security issue, then I'm happy that Blizzard cares enough to have patched it so fast.

No it is: I couldn't care less.
By saying I could care less means you care since you have the ability to then care less. Saying you couldn't care less means you don't care for it at all which means you truly can't care less.

First, some people have already started, or changed maps to include EUD, with that all gone, all that work is pretty pointless and wasted a lot of the map-makers time.Second, I really don't care for EUDs. I have yet to use it besides just messing up some weapons in a quick 5 minute map.Third, doesn't matter supertoast we get what he means -.-.

Besides, at least now the Map Making Assistance goes back to actual map-making and not EUD making. That kinda ticked me off because I couldn't post there anymore =(

True, but that is part of my problem with it. That phrase has become so ingrained into out minds even though it's wrong.

Um... You shouldn't hate Blizzard because they don't want their program taken off the shelves because it is "potentially" dangerous to your computer. I think it is a smart move by Blizzard, and they should continue to fiz things they see as problems.

It's good that they patched it, but saying they were pointless is extreme. They had a lot of potential in some maps, but oh well people have been playing SC for years without EUD triggers so yea, people should get over it.

Look, superpenguin found a way to run arbitrary code and went directly to Blizzard. Why would they not patch it? Why would they wait until someone else found it?

Ya, the fact that there was a security exploits makes it a must that Blizzard patches it, if that means sacrificing EUD's then I'm all for it.

Agreed. They were cool, but like FF7, WAY overhyped. I congratulate you DK, for making Blizzard patch the game twice.
