It's that time again - the Starchitects have a new release for you. It's called Bite Sized Games, and it's a collection of five minigames designed to be fun by testing your memory, timing and decisiveness.

The main people that made this map were UED77, EdvardMunch, Dark_Soul74, StealthyDeath and me, but I can't forget the people who wanted to help and did some work but didn't directly contribute to the map. Those are Whiteknight, Nahotnoj and AqoTrooper.

Here's a description of the five minigames:

QUOTE
Bite Sized Games is a map produced by the Starchitects, the official WarBoards.org map and mod development team. It contains five minigames that will challenge your timing, memory and ability to act.

Minefield - Find your way safely through a field of aerial minds. The trouble is, you only get fifteen seconds to memorise all the locations of the mines before making your way through the imminent danger.

Memory - Memorise sequences of units that get longer and longer. Try not to make a mistake!

Deep Space Debris Dodge - Space junk is floating around everywhere. You have five minutes to find a way through the junk - without crashing into any stray debris!

Wind Tunnel - Try to stay steady from the ever-present forces of the wind while shooting down as many units as you can. You'll be blown away!

Bombardment - Bombard targets flying by with streams of missiles. Be careful though, you need to time your missile launches so they collide with the enemies at just the right moment - you wouldn't want to waste expensive missiles.

Personally, my favourites are Deep Space Debris Dodge and Bombardment, because they're fast-paced and quite hard. Plus, who doesn't want to repeatedly fire missiles. I love playing those games, and I was showing some people the map at an internet cafe today and they thought it was real cool. But you should decide for yourself.

I enjoyed making the part of the map that I did, and I sure hope everyone else feels the same. Special special thanks to UED77 because he did heaps on this map. I hope you guys enjoy it!

Looks sorta like SSC's StarParty.

And that's a bad thing? ^_^ I like the map. And also, I'll say this: I really enjoy maps like this. I love maps that aren't just one game and that's it, you're done. I wish people would make more minigame maps such as this, they're fun and a half ^_^ Hope you continue with another.

I think it was really good, but I kinda was bad at it... I can't dodge really good, and everything I managed to hit on Bonbarment was either a hallucination, or a dud score, so I kept getting left with nothing...

Yay! It is done! It is done!

I enjoy playing this map as much as I enjoyed working on it, and I'm glad that it's finally complete. My favorite is Bombardment as well, and credit goes to you, BSTRhino, for making it so addictive and fun. Deep Space Debris Dodge and Minefield are also very enjoyable, but I find I know all the Minefields by heart smile.gif

The Starchitects did excellent work once again. Good job, guys.

Those minefields are really hard sometimes, usually I remember them by counting their lengths and relying on my subconcious to remember which direction everything goes, but sometimes I reach a tile and it's like "where do I go from here?"

I've only managed to remember seven units in a row in memory without cheating. I think that means I'm normal because apparently the short term memory can only store 5-9 items.

well it was pretty fun but i have to say that the wind one was pretty stupid no offence. it wouldve been cool if you cloaked the beacons and spread them out more because id click on one and the civilian would go into the credits one and then id have to wait for that to finish which was about forever. It would've looked nicer if the units were named too, like the debris buildings were actually named debris wth a gray color marker or something. Also, it would have been nice if you positioned the text over the beacons when choosing the difficulty and stuff for the landmines game because it got confusingtrying to select. also this is just my preference but i wouldve chosen a hydralisk instead of a zergling for the memory game because i was remembering the order by the first letters of each and then i kept ending up with two z's (zealot and zergling). overall i thought it was a fun map.

one more thing, what was the cloak for in the debris dodge?
