Peter Jennings was a great man, it disheartened me to hear that he died from lung cancer.
In my US History class, we watched a whole bunch of american history videos all hosted by Peter Jennings. He was an awesome man and I'm going to miss him

I really never noticed him (Of course I saw him, but I was never like "OMGOMG PETER JENNINGS IS ON OMGOMG!!!!!1111!!!!"), but the story they had about him on the news was quite... aww...

When I was a kid, I used to hate having to get off the TV so my dad could watch the news. Peter was the only anchor that I would actually listen to as a kid and because of that, he became my favorite out of the three network newsheads. It was sad for me, because Peter was one of the first famous people I remember being aware of. It won't be the same without him.

Yeah, I grew up watching Jennings as well. Too bad most of the stories bored me (at the time).

I had never really heard of him, probably because I never got him in this area (I don't think so anyway). All that I do know is that news stories about him were on instead of one of the shows I watch 
Anyway, sorry to his family, friends, and all his viewers . . .
