Well, I am unable to install the patches for SC. I had too reinstall it for reasons. But, when I go to log onto B.net, it tells me I need to download the latest patch. So, I click ok.
Expecting to wait for a couple of hours to wait for the download to complete, that's not what happens. It downloads instantly(I have a 56k modem, so that's impossible). After the patch DL's I need to restart BW. So, I do so, but before anything happens. I get an error that shows up. It reads as:
Network Upgrade Failed
"The operation being requested was not performed because the user has not been authenticated."
That's the exact error. So, if you have eny ideas on what I can do, please, enlighten me.

Do you have a bad CD key..? If it is a bad cd key, that could be why.

I don't think my CD Key is bad. I have used it before and it was ok. Also, it;s the key that I got when I bought SC.

Cant someone here give you the patch? (Im a Mac, so I couldnt.. mine is labeled "Starcraft MAC patch..."
