It's Star Control 2: The Urquan Masters. Any of you ever heard of it?
Well it's an old game, 1991 or 1992, but wait,it is not one of those silly and specially old games,this game rules. The creators were such inspired those days heh. I found out about it last year and it captured me. Its story is so strong,okay the graphic engine is not its best side,but it's good anyway.
I'd like to introduce everybody to the world of UQM but this game is not for newbs,it's for people that like space games,with lot of story and puzzles to resolve.
Because it is the second Star Control,you'll need some back up story before starting the game,otherwise,you won't understand anything.

Well...SC2 wasn't made to run on modern computers...but a bunch of guys have revived this game and now you can download and play it,and free:

The whole game with sounds and all is like 150 MB I think,but it is worth to be downloaded.
The current game version is 0.3,hence it's under beta stage and there are some bugs,but v 0.3 is quite good,not like 0.2

The graphics look like the Alpha version of Starcraft, 2d Warcraft 2 graphics in space, but it seems decent.

I agree with Pinecone, but thats ok, i thought those graphics looked kinda cool!
