Well protoss have about 20 briefings and they have sounds. Please be more detailed.

No its in starforge. Although I think its not in sounds, i thought there was another folder that had stuff like music. Can't remember, I'm on a mac at the moment.

Look under \BROODWAR\ instead of \BrooDat\
Although you can use \StarDat\ normally, you need the SC vanilla disc in the drive to use \STARCRAFT\ as well as anyone playing your map, so don't use that folder.
I'm assuming that \StarDat\ and \BrooDat\ are installed on your hard drive while \STARCRAFT\ and \BROODWAR\ are found on the respective CDs.
