I'm pretty sure this topic has been started before, but the general assembly has changed, so I think I'll remake this topic. It is probably a year old...

What do you look for in a boyfriend/girlfriend/etc?

Looks.

But she needs to be funny, and enjoy my humor too. She also needs to be very open and honest to me, I hate liers.

There's no point of having a girlfriend/boyfriend if it's not dedicated and fueld by love. Because.... it'll just be an obstacle in high school, except one you can avoid easily.

I think the question is, how do you know when you're in love? That answer can be determined by watch The Matrix.

I'll be honest, mostly looks... I'm not gonna go out with someone ugly,
of course she has to have a good personality and not act stuck-up.
A sense of humor is always good

Initially, looks.
After that, sense of humor, personality, honesty.

If none of those pass, then no go.

well looks,trustworth,honest,not stuck up or cocky, open minded, and funny, oh and not over controlive. some chicks like to tell you what to do when you go out somewhere or do something

Clean armpits, feet, and straight teeth.

I like them to be really gullible.

I like them to be drama queens.

No virgins (They gotta know what they're doing)

If I decide I wanna keep them they have to be willing to never leave my house again unless they are hitched up to me in some way.

If I can spend a good afternoon with them.
And someone who is actually happy. Depressing people are, well, depressing.

Hmm, let's see.

I probably look for the following (in no particular order):

Experience, decent fashion sense, similar sense of humour to me, intelligence, different political views (not radically different), good looks (hairstyle is particularly important), modesty, honesty, ability to make decisions.

If I was to condense all those down into one thing, it would be 'good company.'

I am picky, aren't I?

Attractive.

Good personality (ie, not a b:censored:h) makes it possible. Followed by looks. Let's be honest - looks are important. You're not going to marry the first girl you meet at age 15, so you won't have to worry about what she looks like when you're 80.

Also, you're not going to marry someone with a burnt off face.

Most people who look like slobs are slobs, and I don't like that lifestyle. It drives me insane. Good hygeine is a plus

Let's see...someone who obviously has pride in what they do. I find an ego attractive, as long as there is modesty on the other end and they know when to use their ego and when to be humble. Has gotta be funny and spontaneous. Someone who is willing to be serious at times and sarcastic and who can care about what I do. You know, like showing up to a theater production once in a while, or to a concert.

As long as their not wonderful friendty. And as long as they share the same interests as i do.

Funny, intelligent, um... similar personality? (Has to be someone I get along with, obviously )

All of the above.

The same criteria as friendship, only even more strict. I couldn't date someone who wasn't my best friend.

The normal girly things.
Confidence, humor, looks are a major plus...

Looks aren't too major (everyones tastes are different, and as long as it suits mine its okay), my biggie is on personality. I mean, you're not going to only spend your time staring your gf are you?

I look for a girl who looks good, has a good personality, a sense of humor, she also has to know when to be serious and when to joke

Also she should be smart, doesn't have to be genius smart, just smart

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. I couldn't go out with some random person - I'd have to know them really well first.

Okay:

People with a good face. If I can't look at them without cringing, then she's not for me (Noses are a big thing)

I usually dont like girls that are skinny, although there are a few exceptions. Neither do I like FAT girls. Somewhere in the middle, leaning heavily towards the skinny side is perfect.

Boobs are a big thing. I'm not saying that everyone has to have big boobs, but they have to be... nice. Some girls just... havent been blessed when it comes to boobs. Maybe proportional is the word for which I'm looking. Smaller girl, smaller breasts; bigger girl, bigger breasts.

Personality. If they're monotonous or just plain boring, that doesn't appeal. It should be fairly different from my personality, but not so far from it which we have nothing in common.

Humor. I'm a very sarcastic person, so I need someone to know when I'm joking and when I'm serious, and she be funny and serious at the appropriate times.

Outgoing with modesty. I dont want some wonderful friend, or one who dresses like one. Nor do I want someone always wearing full dresses (Though some dresses are nice).

I've also noticed, I'm attracted to a more gothic girl than preppy. Preppy is just... nasty, almost superficial. I like a mix of it when it comes to personalities. They realized that they've not everything, and dont take it for granted. Looks, though, is swaying towards the gothic. I just think it's attractive, the modesty of it.

Intelligence. I don't want some supercomputer, nor a wonderful friend either. Preferably christian, just because I make lots of references to christian things, which many people do not understand.

RAP = Bad. Rap chicks = bad. That's just the way I am. Also, redneck = bad. (There's varying degrees of it)
