Can someone tell me what's the main storyline of FF? I've seen some cinemetics though because I don't have the cash to buy them...*sob*
And are the series all linked? Or they're just seperate story? Does FF has a main theme in the story lines? What's the history background based on?
Oh boy...I sound like a questionair...sorry if I make you sick(I hope not!)
In general, the FF series is not linked and the games tend to be different stories that use the same storytelling formula, if that makes sense.
Is there any particular FF that you want the story for?
Just asking.
btw what kinda storyline formula? Is it the one where 'a bad guy comes out from nowhere and wanted to destroy the world for no damn reason and the heros travel all around where the bad guys give them low level uints to level up so they can kill the bad guy themselves?'
Not really i mean it depends on the game. Say FF7 there was no bad guys just an evil corporation till Sephiroth came

But then theres FF8 your just the main cahracter trying to join Seed until your hear about Ultima or something like that trying to take over zee world muahaha

FF8 = Squall Lionheart at Balamb Garden trying to become a SeeD and stuff, and then trying to assassinate Queen Edea and etc
I just started on the whole FF franchise (a friend gave me a FFV rom) but so far the storylines pretty much no main bosses just a bunch of neat quests, and the battle system rocks!
FF normally starts out that your just chilling out then WAM OFMG EVIL STUFF?!!?/
FFX You start out in Zankar-won't bother spelling the rest of that. And you play something called Blitz ball, but all of a sudden a giant water bubble called sin attacks the city, a childhood friend (That you know cause your dad hung out with him) comes and feeds both you and him to the creature sin. Then you appear somewhere 1000 years later and find out what happened that day runs the world that you are in at that time. The story unfolds fromt here, has to do with evil governers and stuff, it's cool.
FF7 started out what you were doing from the beginning (Suddenly has an urge to play FF7) your an ex Shrina solider now part of a "Terriosts" group called AVALANCHE(Only spelt right) You're not acutally Terrorists your doing what's good for the plannet, see Shrina is su- or as barret would say:
"CLOUD. Dem damn shrina are suckin da life out the plannet!"
"It's not my problem *Groan Mumble Mumble*"
So you kind of want to stop them, and alas something else appears in the story and you get REALLY side tracked.
I heard they were making FF7 remake for Ps3, I don't see why not, they made a Conker's Bad Fur Day remake which did great. THEY SHOULD, maybe they will add... VOICES!!!
FF7 Had a freaking awesome storyline. Most people think it was mainly Cloud v Sephiroth. In reality, it's Aeiris v Jenova. Cloud is more or less insane and the story is told from his point of view. Therefore, the information you get is mostly wrong. It's hard to pick out the real stuff, but it's all really kewl.
Cloud went braindead sometimes pre-game and then took all the memories of Zack, who had his brains blown out. Cloud was never more than a Grunt, whereas Zack was a SOLDIER. Therefore, he thought we has Zack and an Ex-SOLDIER. Plus, even though he was just a grunt, he managed to toss Sephiroth off a cliff into the lifestream. Sephiroth is weak, he's just a puppet for Jenova. Like the Shinra. As soon as Jenova was revived, the Mako Reactors were built as Jenova made her first moves against the Lifestream. Sephiroth went mad and destroyed (whatever that town was called). Aeiris is the last Ancient (a race that Jenova wiped out) and holds the key to bringing the Lifestream out of check and cheackmating Jenova, through Holy. Jenova, through Sephiroth, summons Meteor and says 'check' to the Lifestream. This is where Aeris goes 'Crap' and lets herself be killed by Sephiroth in an attempt to reconnect with the Lifestream. She giudes Cloud through the game to where he kills Jenova and Sephiroth in the end. When Sephiroth dies if you look at his face he's like 'Oh man, this sucks!' because he just realized he was a puppet. In the end, Meteor is about to kill the Lifestream and Aeris uses Holy. Unfortunately, Holy is designed to kill evil, and the city Meteor is about to hit is full of evil. Holy helps the Meteor, at which point the Lifestream just kicks Meteor's ass on it's own. Wierd game, they're making a sequal movie, and remaking it for PS3.
Plus, you have to unlock Vincent, he's the key to understanding the whole storyline.
with the whole ff series there is only one sequel being FF X-2 where yuna wants to see if tidus is still alive other then that little linkage
to sum it up for you, ur jus basically trying to save the world.....and that basically goes for every ff game
That
does basically sum it up
Even though there are different enemies but basically it is the same storyline over and over and always have random battles
Except for when you use XI online then theres no end
It's acutally called Final Fantasy because in each of the worlds it is the last ____ (Raid, Day, etc.) Which is why FFX-2 didn't make sense, but it sort of did because it's not like the world was ending in FFX, just being terrorized.
not really ffx-2 was jus bad, it was basically jus collecting those stupid spheres for yuna to find out where tidus was, which was completely stupid, and i beat the game in 7 hours, thats how easy that game was
overall ff7 and ffx are the best and i cant wait til advent children comes out
They planned advent children for a year now hmm maybe one more year and we can watch it and SeeD is for FF8 only its a organization that recruits very talented, brave, and strong fighters to save zee world.
SeeD is a Corperation that does missions and stuff and you have seed levels from 1-30 after 30 you can get level A which is the highest
one mission involves assassinating edea
seifer is the main heroes rival and you fight him 4 times or so
the main weapon in FF8 is a gunblade which is awesome
