Okay, I am IPbanned from battle.net USeast (and UsEast only), and I have been for about 7 hours (Still going)

I have only been on USeast today for like 2 hours, and I did not spam or anything.

BUT- in the last week or so, just about every day I have been using the so called "EUDEnabler." I'm 90% sure that's the reason I'm IPbanned. I have been using it by myself.. or with Legacy/DK.. so those blizzard reps are WATCHING.

So.. the bunch of people with EUDenabler.. Blizzard knows.

I would just use it offline.

I was reading on blizzard forums/battle.net help things for about an hour..

Temporary Restrictions last from 5Minutes to 48 Hours

cry.gif

And emailing blizzard takes 3 work days, so what's the point. I'll be unipbanned by then.

I'm going to be in Op SEN under the name of MrrLL.. if anyone wants to break my loneliness spree.

EDIT: What else that sucks is there are like 10,000+ map hackers and spammers and other people that won't get IPbanned.. but I'm IPbanned for just using a triggerenabler cry.gif

I'm not positive why you got banned, but EUDenabler is a strong possibility.
Blizzard said they would ban people who used it, here's a quote.

"I visit SEN on a daily basis as well as TL and some others. All I can say on the matter is that if you play D2 or know anyone who does, you'll notice they banned over 36,000 accounts in one day the other week. The accounts were using D2Loader, map hacks, or some other 3rd party software. The battle.net team is taking any hack seriously and closing accounts as they find them. No warnings, no passing "Go", no collecting $200.00. Official word. Do not Use 3rd Party Software To Modify How Blizzard Games Are Played".

That was a response from a blizzard rep regarding EUDEnabler.

Here's the link to it if you don't believe me.

He's referring to D2 in that, yet it could apply to SC.

MrrLL have you been crashing your Starcraft a lot before you got IPbanned or doing anything "normal" people wouldn't do?

I've been ipbanned before, I believe it was an IPban, and it lasted a pretty long time.

Whenever I flood out it could be as short as a few minutes to hours. Never had one longer than a day though I think.

DAMN YOU PIE SNIPER!!!!!!!

(He joins op sen@uswest.. says "woot" and leaves....how.. cruel cry.gif)

EDIT:
Devilesk: Yes.. I am on a XP and I crash like 5 times per day.. happens sometimes when Legacy joins my games, or when I use the Friends List command, or Whisper/Friends message.. in the Lobby area (Before you start the game, forces, slots, etc.)

No, he was referring to SC devilesk, it was a reply to Heimdals post about EUDEnabler.

I'm saying he JohnDS didn't directly say they were banning people on SC for hacking and stuff. He was using D2 as an example, then at the end he said don't use hacks with Blizzard games blah blah.

MrrLL once when I crashed my SC a lot doing disabling/enabling crap I got ipbanned I think. But I kept rejoining battle.net and kept crashing it over and over.

Play private games on Bnet, Blizzard can't find out, can they?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MapUnprotector on 2005-08-19 at 00:51:12
Blizzard can do anything on battle.net I think.

BTW, who cares if you guys get banned for using EUDenabler, really get over EUD's. If you love EUD's quit bnet, oh wait Blizzard is already helping you smile.gif

Battle.net is more valuable than EUD's.
I'm not complaining because I still have them. laugh.gif

IT looks 99% certain to me. A blizzard rep sure seemed to confirm it. yawn.gifh noez:

I'm not big into EUD's but the only post that really got my attention on the link silent posted was:

your not saying its because of XP, are you? I'm on an XP and have it on like 4 different computers that had SC and worked like a charm.

Heimdal-

While screwing with the names, mine didn't change, but Deathknights changed to Teathknight2004, so yeah, I was.

Euro-

Yes, I am blaming my damned XP. It never crashed on my Micron [Windows 98], so yeah, it is the XP.
