In this single player mission you play as a protoss spy, The Hidden. You must get a copy of the super weapon plans from inside a Terran Research Center. But your invisiblity isn't working well while inside the building, so if you get very close to guards, they'll kill you. More info during briefing.
This map may be a little short, but it's difficulty ranges from easy to moderate. There are a few traps in the map as well. Added some music and sound to the map as well.
This map is the first map that I used switches with, otherwise, it wouldn't have a good victory. It's also one of my first maps ever. IMO, this is a pretty cool map, and I'm hoping that I'll make a sequel as well, when I have the time.

Ok, I just played the map.
You got a good idea going, it reminds me of an old ninja rpg I used to play. There's a lot of things that could be touched up and fixed to make it look better. For example, naming forces, and getting the text colored. The music was annoying, didn't like it. It didn't add "shadowy" mood to the map.
Yeah, it's a good idea but there are quite a few things that need to be worked on. For one, they don't talk like protoss would whatsoever (take on a fleet of carriers would probably be destroy, not take on, and I doubt they would call it a 'Super Weapon') and yeah, the music was annoying...

So? Most unique ideas have already been taken. Its hard to come up with something new. And I don't think the fellow's map originates from this map. I see many defense maps that are quite similar. Does it matter?
It matters only because there is no point for him to make a map that has already been made, and without anything new to add to it. So basically it will be the same map over again.
If he were to add new ideas, or take ideas from other infiltration maps, then he could make this map into something unique. But if his map is the same as some other older map without much difference between the two, then what is the point of continuing to make it?
Well for one thing, during the transmission, it wasn't the protoss who was talking (or was it?). Maybe it was some rare clan of protoss that does talk like that.
I'm sorry about the music, but it was all I could find that went well with the map.

Weird map. Terrible, I mean terrible Terrain, if you make an instillation map, make sure to do the walls to perfection, because it just looked way to ugly.
The walls are all the same...
if the wall pallett isn't the same and has a whole bunch of weird terrain then that's bad terrain, it's gotta be at least 1-2 different pallet's. like let's say you enter a special room then the wall terrain change.
Actually, you did say it was protoss, first line of briefing: "You are The Hidden, one of Protoss's best spies." (Also just realized that it should be Protoss' not Protoss's)
Take Out The Godamn Wav and put a better more ambient theme in... Also you do need to fix up walls they look prety bad...
This is making me want to restart my spy map...

Look at the walls, they are not the same. They are scattered, let me show what I mean of a good wall, and not a bad one. Look at the attachement, notice that the walls in this are the same, execpt for the computer, the chrome look walls. This is what I mean of good, bad ones have the scatter around like in the second attachment and Third.
Oh, you meant the tiles. I was thinking about the way the walls we're placed. Yea I guess it would make a difference if you redid the walls. It could be a lot of work though.
It is alot of work, and it is VERY annoying working with, especially when you are working in an area that one change effects like four things, then it takes forever, and I usally cover it up with something...
Just swipe the subtile brush from SCM draft. Can you change the size of the subtile brush?
Its called brushes... copy and paste terrain... You dont NEED to worry about certain places changeing...
